I added complete stats today for another deck I had been working on: Disc' EM (DEM) (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,23307.msg316979#msg316979).  The deck provides another solid alternative for AI3 farmers.

Just wondering but isn't this the excate same study which jmdt started with decks of 3 versions of the game already been studied ,He started a version 1.27 already.
No, you're missing the point entirely.  Jmdt's study focuses on TTW, which is only one component of score farming.  This study is a review of which decks produce the best score/hour in the form of a measured index called TSE.  TTW translates well to PvP rushing, even though it is researched vs. AI3 decks, whereas the decks here focus entirely on gaining EM's for score.

On a side note, I added an additional deck with stats today: Disc' EM (DEM) (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,23307.msg316979#msg316979)

Light / Re: Deck ideas
« on: March 29, 2011, 06:44:57 pm »
Well i just realized that in all these decks.. there are the new cards. I'm not criticizing them but realize that we don't have to use new cards. There are really good decks from last war that don't use new cards.
I agree that we should more strongly consider reusing some of the more successful decks from last war.  That being said, it would be foolish to brush aside new cards for the most part, as I believe some of our strongest cards have been released after last war.

Also you can't just make decks that are good combo's with light.
Although slower, with all due respect, I feel our strength lies in our ability to work in conjunction with other elements.  We just don't stall well or damage well as a mono, but light can be incredible in combination.  IMHO, the key is finding the decks which work as quickly and reliably as possible with these goals in mind.

We need to start thinking of specific deck that counter other elements. For example. Life. They have weak creatures and heavy healing. So we would use stuff like stalls or firestorm or fire shield. We have a great strategist to find these strengths against other elements and then we have a great deck builder to make decks with these strategies. So start categorizing/making new decks that counter other elements. Not just good combos.
Your comments are astute and well-noted.  I added a strategy section to our typewithme page so we can all go in and edit, and perhaps develop more well-directed decks at each specific element.  Switching our focus to a more narrow goal should help us to prepare our vault/decks in the next few days so we can perform well in the upcoming war!

Is it as good as your other deck with procogs? Does this work great for pvp?
For comparison to other decks in the big picture, follow this link: AI3 EM True Efficiency Study (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,21923.0.html)

For comparison to other BH/Discord decks follow this link: BH/Discord Decks for AI3 EM's - Stats & Discussion (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,23293.0.html)

To answer your questions:

-It does beat the TADAbow with precogs, however, remove the precogs and strengthen the focus of the deck and it does not beat the TADAbow.
-I have no doubt these decks will be strong in PvP, however, one may want to add some PC, which could easily be done by fitting in a couple of explosions.

Could some1 test Essence's Mastery Despoiler? http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11412.0.html
I had included this deck in the first Efficiency Study (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,21530.msg296140#msg296140).  While this study was less complete (<200 games), it featured more decks, and I chose the cutoff to be placed at 1000 TSE for the update.  I will probably go back and fill in these gaps in the future, but with war coming up, it will probably be a few weeks.

Note that all of these TSEs were much lower due to the update of AI speed.

Issue Archive / Extended Pet Bug? [Not A Bug]
« on: March 28, 2011, 07:30:21 pm »
Today I had a hidden pet from the oracle and I set off to do some AI3....

To my surprise I had an Amber Nymph, which was nice because I was getting ready to do some testing on a Discord based-SN deck, so I had a bit of quanta to power the nymph.

I noticed the next game, I started off with the nymph again, and started to get these grandiose ideas about maybe the glitch would just always start me off with an amber nymph every game.

3rd game... nymph was still there.  I began to want to switch to some FG farming and perhaps even reconfigure my deck so that it was built around starting with an amber nymph.  I was afraid that if I switched anything (deck or game type) the pet would go away.

4th game... nymph pet was finally gone.  It was a fun run while it lasted... is this something anyone has encountered before or is this a new feature that has been added?
