Metamorphosis - Battle Results / Re: Metamorphosis - Round 2

If you won one game, then you must use the same deck.
The only way that really makes sense would be if you have to win 3 minus the number of games won in the previous round before completing your mark.

Um, so if I did manage to win at least one game last round then that means I can't revert back to my original deck?
This ^^  Some of us need to know before we start designing this round's decks.

Are Passive abilities not considered actual abilities or could the Master of :darkness just not bear the thought of parting ways with his Dolls? :>
Would that mean GotPs would have to be banned as well?

Rainbow Decks / Re: TADAbow - AI3 Domination, Rainbow style

Updated OP with in-depth strategy guide.  Just need to finish 200 games on low quality of USEM/USEMosis for comparison and then it should be complete.

Is there any real need for an Elder breakdown? Also you may want to update the Tadabow in your other threads, as I'm still using those. Now to upgrade a heal...
No real NEED per say, just helps to optimize score farming.  Also, personal interest, the fact that this sort of thing hadn't been done in the past, adds a bit of flair, and makes the OP look more complete drove me to do it.  Watching for opposing landmark quanta pools is really important with this deck if you want to take it to the next level.

I thought I had updated all other posts of mine that included TADAbow, was there one I had missed?

Light / Re: Round 4 strategy
« on: April 27, 2011, 07:23:53 am »
Just figured while I was taking mental notes I would jot down thoughts about how other elements seem to really be attacking us:

Exploiting our lack of CC:
Growing creatures
Accelerated Creatures
Dragons

Most of our decks are duos/rely on other elements
EQs have really devastated our reliance upon pendulums
Discords to some degree (although threat of sancts has seemingly diverted this mostly)

Aggressively hitting our stall tactics:
EQs
Heavy PC

Exploiting our lack of PC:
Perm overload

How can we improve in these areas?

Unfortunately, we designed our original decks/vault without these purposes in mind for the most part.

Antimatter - This seems to be working wonders in the right situation
PAs - We have 4, may as well start designing uses for them
Less reliance upon pendies - More utilization of novas/luciferin
Poison - Circumvents any CC/PC defenses put in our way

More to come... work in progress.

Just wanted to try and generate more strategic discussion in preparation for rounds going forward.

Rainbow Decks / Re: (1.27) CC? Why Bother? - unupped

-Antimatter is really unreliable without a mark of entropy
Completely agree, problem is, they are such a gamebreaker vs. FGs.  For this reason, I would probably keep the AMs because they are invaluable vs. most FG's once you hit that 8  :entropy mark.  Maybe -1 AM and add another miracle?  (Synergizes well with the proposed solar shield)

and on that note....

-2 shields in a 39 card deck does not work, shrink it down or add another shield (Mirror doesn't work because it reduces  damage unupped, perhaps a solar shield
-many times EAs just sit in my hand not doing anything, and they take up valuable space
-I agree it needs a 3rd shield, and slimmed down; however, its an unupped FG deck, and is limited as such.  Also, unupped shields are so aweful.  I'll ponder this...
-I do think the EAs could probably get dropped, I think they need to go in order to slim this down, however, with the new FG's, I feel they are superior in the upped version.

The new proposed deck would look like this (slimmed down to 36 cards):

Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vn 4vn 58v 58v 5fa 5fa 5i9 5i9 5li 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5oj 5rl 5rl 5rl 621 621 623
Edit: Just remembered Solar Shield doesn't synergize with sancts, back to the shield drawing board.  -1 solar shield, -1 miracle

I can honestly say I was completely thrown off by his deck.  Oty's, gravity shields, EQs and maybe wardens were not seen in any of gravity's previous decks.  Imagine my dismay!  Completely counterdecked.

Game 1:

I saw Earth and predicted EQs, slow playing my pendula to follow, which were my only source of quanta.  I felt good that I could still weather the storm at this point.  I next saw a gravity shield pop and frowned at the worthless dragons unaccompanied by PC in my deck.  I then played an eternity, followed by a pulverizer.  Not looking good now, more frowning ensues.  I play a GotP, followed by a vanadium warden, the frown begins to deepen.  I RT the warden before he blows up my eternity.  Just to rub it in, he plays an Oty, completely locking me down.

Game 2:

I can't imagine any way this game would have turned out well for me, and it didn't (frown).  I hoped to get an early eternity and sader out, soon enough to put some damage on him early and turn around any of his wardens.  This didn't happen of course and I waved the white flag early on (omega-frown).

Great counter TNG.  Well played my friend, and good luck going forward!
