Game Suggestions and Feedback / Changing starting HP in PVP
« on: September 07, 2010, 01:55:41 pm »
I wish there would be more pvp rooms with different starting HP for players.
Rush decks should prefer 100HP or even less to tune their deck.
Control decks could prefer 200HP or more to pratice their anti FG skills
And I don't think it's a very complex feature to include in the game.

It would be nice to have a separate win/loss counter for pvp and for AI.

Thank you for this awesome free game !!!

Card Ideas and Art / Re: Extinction|Extinction
« on: September 07, 2010, 01:48:48 pm »
This card is really needed to balance the game. Many 100hp winning decks are rush and fractal. And THIS is the card we need to cool them.
But I think it's a little bit too much expensive.
I even dream of an extinct that remove all cards of the same species in game, in hand and in decks. It would be so fun !
Having situational cards is good for diversity.

Ok, it doesn"t take into account hp, but it drains all  :time quanta !

Fire lance seems to be much stronger than shockwave, because you can easily kill your opponent directly with fire lances....

No, it is worst, because even if he has other cards in hand, and even if a can cast the creature, he is locked.
As you can fill his hand each turn, and he will only be able to cast the remaining cards and the creatures you give to him.
So it happens as soon your opponent has a nightmare on top of his deck, there is a creature in play and you have a mindgate
and enough quanta to use the gate and nightmare.

Of course if he can cast the big dragons you give to him each turn, it could be a nice lock for your opponent, but it's still a lock.

I am just waiting for a spell/effect to put one of your card on top of your opponent deck.

General Discussion / mind gate and nightmare
« on: August 15, 2010, 10:21:32 am »
I played with mind gate against a half-blood  :darkness/ :entropy

His hand is empty, i have played an archangel on the field. I have plenty of prismatic pillar.
Step 0 : My turn
Step 1 : Use mindgate draw Nightmare !
Step 2 : Use nightmare on my archangel
Step 3 : Opponent's turn : he can't play with 8 archangels in hand and even don't draw.
Next step : go back to step 0

This is a really powerful use of nightmare against his owner.

Each time my AI opponent play a Titan and THEN (1 or + turn later) play an Eternity, Eternity ignore shield effects.
Don't know if it works with other weapon than Eternity, but it's not cool to have a momentum eternity against you....

Off-Topic Discussions / Re: Why do we need to save tigers?
« on: June 01, 2010, 06:44:04 pm »
Well, self preservation is understandable. But, killing other life just because you can when there are way more threatening things in this world (examples above and at the first page)?
I agree, but i don't think tigers are killed by humans that don"t care. I think they are killed by people who fear for their life.
I have a friend in a country where there is very dangerous insects. Of course, they will not extinct, but when I went here, I didn't
think about the animal, i just killed them as quickly as possible when they try to reach my feet. You don't think in such times,
You just act to avoid pain/poison/death :death...

Of course they aren't on the same level as humans. You don't see tigers going around forcing their beliefs on people, abuse unrenewable, volatile resources which in turn destroy the environment for personal gain, purposely make other creatures extinct, create weapons of mass destruction, commit violent acts because of how other tigers look (bigot tigers grr), and so forth. By your (Xoff) opinion on if we should save them or not—when humans are the primary cause of their dwindling numbers—we are allowed to kill humans because we know how to make more of them? There's something wrong there.
A=> B does not imply (not A) => (not B)
It's forbidden to break the out-of-price antic vase because it's unique and can't be made again. But it does not allow you to break your regular
glasses anyway....

But human life is always out of price, and I think it should be considered more precious than anything else. Even if it's true that there is some big, bad and
dangerous darkness  :darkness in a human being. But you know that, as we are all made of the same flesh.
