Would you mind telling me what score has to do with PvP? Players already level their alts by queueing against their main account in pvp2 (which is mostly abandoned) for massive elec/score, so the abuse already exists.
Score determines how much electrum you win at the end of the game.
If your opponent has a much higher score than you, you win more electrum.
The converse is also true.
A newer player beating a "veteran" would gain many times the electrum he would get from beating an FG.
It's a great feeling and a great boost.
What you're describing is currently a transfer of score from one account to the other. (From what I understand)
Implementing flat score loss rates would mean the original account loses no score while the new account gains "free" score.
I actually didn't know people made alternative accounts tbh.
Well since the matchup is random you can't really help your buddy grind or something like that. Even if you do, that doesn't really matter isn't it.
Good point
You mean like T50 farm? Thats because the AI is controlling it so you don't really lose time. I doubt that many people will play PvP and purposely lose to random people.
Not T50, but actual PvP. Sometimes its fun to use a joke deck that's full of rares in PvP1. The purpose being that you feel good about it.
You're right about randomly doing it though - it doesnt happen like that - an effort is made to win, but with a purposefully gimped deck.
I don't really care about score, not sure what others feel.
I'm the same way - now you know me
You really think high score player will spend time to go on pvp1 with a rarefarm deck and loose again and again just because they will loose a little score ? you serious ? I've better to do when I play elements..
for example in arena you can put a farm and lost nothing.. you saw a lot of farm in arena ? not me.. 0 in fact.
It happens. I do it. Sometimes it's nice to help people. And as I said above, once you're in the game every effort is made to win, it's just that the newbie gets a cool prize for his deserved victory.
PvP1 is an absolute no-go unless I want to be pigeon holed into playing grabbows and a few other cookie cutter decks unless I'm in a generous mood and feel the need to hemorrhage score.
