Deck Help / Re: what do i need to change ?
« on: January 20, 2011, 09:48:09 am »
Take a look at this thread: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11016.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11016.0.html)

It has a list of the most popular fg killer decks around.
Most of those decks work well against the current false gods.

Because you've already upgraded so many rainbow deck cards, the CCYB? deck might be the best fit.

Personally, I would recommend using a rol/hope deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6546.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6546.0.html)) because it is super fast.

If you're looking to have fun, this Retrovirus deck is a blast: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,19550.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,19550.0.html)

Just wanted to say that this deck is a ton of fun to play. As soon as I saw it, I knew that I had to make it.

I think this deck really shows that retrovirus is not a worthless card after all.

Kudos on the great idea!

Competitions / Re: Voting: The Outcasts

@xdude, Kamietsu, ddevans96:

If a deck made it into the competition, then people should have the freedom to vote for it. There is no point in complaining about people voting for Farmer Joe. The best solution would be just to take the offending deck out of the competition.

I would probably be disappointed if that deck actually made it into the game, because as ddevans96 pointed out, "It doesn't have the power or the sense to be a false god."  I am very confident in Zanz' abilities in chose which decks to incorporate, so I'm sure that Farmer Joe would probably only end up as an April fool's joke or something of that capacity.

With that said, I don't understand why people are taking this so seriously. People are just having fun voting, and there is no reason to get mad about it.

I voted for the ones that would be fun - and made me smile; I'm looking at you Farmer Joe! lol

Immortalis - Massive Dragons, and nobody uses Anubis in a false god deck

Typhoon - Love the idea of Water/Air

Basilisk - Gravity shield will shut down Rol/hope decks

Devourer - brutal deck, better hope for an electrocuter

Farmer Joe - YAYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You always need a fun deck and if you have 30(?) false gods soon, it still wont be very often that you face it. (If you're a purist, you can just skip it) This might be a good tutorial deck on how a false god operates... softens the learning curve a bit.

Dragon Lord - Dragon spam ftw!!!

Its an interesting deck, but I have to agree with TheIdioticIdiot, this deck would be too slow to be a worthwhile ai3 farmer. Its looks fun to play though!

Otherwise, I dont really see the purpose of the black dragon and the minor vampire. With only one of each, you cant count on getting them every match, and they just detract from the theme of this deck (stall and then drain away health). Either add more, or take them out. This deck needs some slimming and some focus. -1 Enchant Artifact (you have 6 steals!), -1 Dragon, -1 minor vampire at first glance. Id have to take it for a test ride to say further...

Good luck with your deck building!

Congrats on getting a  :light nymph!! She is my favorite one too!
I wouldn't consider myself very experienced, I'm practically a noob, but I will share my thoughts.

As a fighter: I completely agree with you. After the patch, I took my nymph out because of her nerfed attack powers. But thankfully, I realized that her strengths lie in other places, and put her back in.  She buffs your shield, allows you to play dragons faster, heals you for lots of health, and makes gods with rain of fire playable.

As a restorer: the AI always lobos dragons with "light" before your nymph. What I usually do against gods with lobotomizers is fractal my nymph and play 2 or 3 of them together. The AI will lobo one of them, but after you use her ability, the AI will focus the lobo on any dragons/nymphs with "light".

As an Accelerator of light (shield) generation: She isn't super helpful, but she is indispensable in fortifying your shield. Would you rather have a 12-13 hope shield or a 21 point shield?  Another side effect of this is that the nymphs basically pay for themselves by giving your dragons "light." If you have 6 dragons with light, that is basically two extra uses of the nymphs' ability per turn FOR FREE! That leads into her next use, healing.

As a healer, the light nymph is absolutely AWESOME!!! If you can get your hope shield up in time, you can handle tons of poison/momentum damage without breaking a sweat. After using fractal on your nymph, you can have 30+ healing per turn. Thats like 6 SoG's for basically no upkeep (because of your Rol's/dragons).

Overall don't be afraid of momentum/poison decks if you have a nymph, because her healing nullifies those decks. Also, rain of fire is less annoying if you can get some 'lighted' dragons out in time.

Not to hijack this thread or anything, but here is my current deck with a light nymph. It is basically the same deck as the original above.

Code: [Select]
5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 622 622 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jq 7jq 7kc 808 808 808 808 808 80e 80e 80e 80i 80i 80i 80i 81q 81q 81q 81q

I hope that I've been able to help!

Chaos Lord / Re: Oracle : Chaos Lord
« on: January 10, 2011, 10:54:32 pm »
I would recommend using a Rol/hope deck, but thats partially because I have a  :light nymph  ;D

As long as you take some form of healing you should be fine. Make sure to fractal those dragons to take out the dissipation shield. A shield of 12-13 should be enough to block most of the damage, but having the nymph/lucifern is instrumental, because you need your shield to be as beefy as possible.

This is the deck I use:

Code: [Select]
5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 5ls 61u 622 622 622 622 622 622 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jq 7jq 808 808 808 808 808 80e 80e 81q 81q 81q 81q
If Chaos Lord get a discord before you have a hope shield of 6, it would be best to quit. Other than that  this False God is easy with this deck.

You could use lucifern and some SoG's instead of the nymph if you dont one.

Some advice: Try to get an electrocuter out as soon as possible. If you leave those druids unchecked, they will mutate your dragons into worthless creatures.

@abcdef, I would recommend farming T50 to get the 3 rares. It doesn't take very long to get all of the rares that way.

I would recommend choosing a deck from here:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11026.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11026.0.html)
or from the ttw study:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17903.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17903.0.html)

Imho, I would farm T50 until I got an partially-upped deck (with rares), and then switch to False Gods.

Good Luck!

Btw, I recently got a light nymph! ;D  Does anyone have any ideas of how to incorporate it into this deck?

I got a few more upgrades, and added two SoG's. Heres what it looks like:

Code: [Select]
5la 5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 5ls 61o 61u 61u 622 622 622 622 622 6rn 6rn 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jq 808 808 808 808 80e 81q 81q 81q 81q
Any Ideas on how I could make it better? I know that it is close to the optimal, but I was wondering if there was a way to make it faster at farming electrum/cards.

I don't know if it is worth it to use the nymph. It helps keep the hope shield up when the Rol's get lobo'ed, but when I play it, it usually get lobo'ed right away. Then I have to fractal it and play multiple nymphs just to be able to use its ability. The nymphs have low attack power, so I almost think it would would be better to use another Dragon/Archangel.
