No, you can get a custom avatar now. You just have to find somewhere else to host it, like imgur, tinypic, imageshack or similar.
It will be resized to 128x128 though, so a square is definitely recommended.

Make sure that you don't have some content blocker that's incorrectly configured. If there's a firewall or similar that's blocking something this might be out of your control, but if you're playing from home that's probably not the case.

It was a glitch where FGs wouldn't play any non-shield/weapon permanents, Zanz said he fixed it but maybe not.

Well, none of the reports I got were all that fresh, so I guess he has, as you just said in chat.

Things which are not bugs

Cancelling Abilities

When you cancel the use of a creature's ability, you do not get the quantum cost back, and the creature cannot use that ability again that turn. This is intentional.

Changing this is also a common feature requests (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,383.0.html).

Something is not quite right. Possibly an AI tweak that's not quite working as intended.

Seems like there is something weird going on with the FGs and their permanent-playing... Rainbow with no HGs? Incarnate with no GYs?
I wouldn't look to closely at the performance of the deck until whatever that is has been fixed (if it hasn't already).

Getting all the cards for the combo at the same time is difficult in a 30 card deck. I can only imagine how difficult it must be in a 46 card deck.
Why would you need Animate Weapon? You're not using air quanta for anything else, and by the time you've got the other cards you're bound to have pulled off at least one Supernova.
You're quite heavy on life quanta usage as well.

@KH: If you were at 75% for FGs, you can't have played much. Could easily be that your waning luck is having a bigger impact then the changes to the cards.
