Sorry to hear that
, I would have loved to continue Grid until Round 100
Well, I suppose this is the right time to say a few thankful words.
First of all, I really admired the amount of effort you put into the event. This includes organizing all the Grids, schedules, PMs, FMs, posts and so on - in short, one single person maintaining up to 32 players during a complex tournament without making any grave or game-breaking mistake. Well, I had enough trouble organizing my own stuff. But what is even more important for me, you came up with so many ideas that were able to guarantee interesting matches and a lot of suspense every time. The Grid concept itself convinced me to join the community after being a silent reader for two months. The events didn't unbalance anything and enabled the players to develop their own style as you could choose between having a safe strategy but minor Relic wins and going for high risk with even higher reward. Many surprises occurred that way, players who seemed not to have any chance to catch up suddenly became top-ranked. And even during the last round everything is open-ended and I don't want to bet on any player's win.
I can only hope that this wasn't the last Grid and you (or someone else, if necessary) will find time to offer a third edition some time in the future. For now, good luck to my fellow players!
P.S.: One minor issue, however. In your post, you give us a deadline of 6 days starting from now but the only countdown is set to about three days. Does it only refer to the picking phase?
