The_Mormegil 1 - 3 Calindu

So, I made a couple mistakes here. My picks were crazy versatile in my head, but his deck countered them 100%.

ALLOWED MARKS: Time, Gravity, Life, Death, Water

H6 - Reverse Time (TARGET)
A7 - Ghost of the Past
G9 - Nightmere
J11 - Fractal (TARGET)
K12 - Wings (TARGET)
B5 - Deflagration
C8 - Basilisk Blood
F1 - Miracle
L4 - Antimatter
D3 - Firefly Queen
E2 - Silence
I10 - Immortal
First game, I open with Ghostmere and kill him. Ghostmere rocks.

From second game on, he played Shockwaves. Second game I played Ghostmere again and lost by 1 hp. -.-
Third game I look at my picks and see his deck pretty much kills all I can throw him. FFQ is slow and Wings support is not useful vs Longbows. Antimatter is good, but I can't use FFQ Antimatter and Ghosts being the only alternative means Shockwaves easily kill my offense. If I had to try something now I would go for Immortal + Antimatter + Silence. Eh, whatever. Those picks countered mine pretty much perfectly. I tried Silence + Ghosts but his deck is too fast and I also misplayed (didn't change much). Last game I went with Ghostmere trying to deprive him of his draws, but a bad quanta draw pretty much killed me.

calindu221 3-1 The Mormegil

Picks and targets after the period ends.

No Pegasus, no longbow, not much I could do against Ghostmare.

Game 2, 3 and 4:

Game 2: Ghostmare almost got me, killed 2 ghosts and got a fast longbow. Morm made me to discard 2 ghosts, almost winning the game. In the end I won with 1 hp, morm failing to topdeck a ghost or a nightmare.
Game 3: Morm played a silence a little bit to fast, maybe to prevent my damage. 2 shockwaves on his ghosts after the silence chain wear off+ Longbow/Crusader combo got him.
Game 4: Bad quanta draw for morm, and his nightmare+ rewind Ghost try didn't worked. In the end Longbow/Crusader finished him.
You know, a long time ago being crazy meant something. Nowadays everybody's crazy.

A7 - Ghost of the Past - Target
B5 - Deflagration - Target
C1 - Lava Golem

J4 - Eternity
K3 - Virus

G1-2(L): Decided while making picks I wanted deflags so I thought I should lead with them here.  Deflagged an Eternity G1 but overall was too slow.

G3-5(W): Decided to switch to this deck (which I premade but I suspect was 1 card different from Terro's).  In a mirror match it basically just comes down to draw.  Terro once slept with RNG's sister and has been paying for it since.  These games weren't particularly fun or representative of skill.  But meh, I needed a win.

Majofa and xdude is the player of the round! I'm impressed. Grats to you two.
Majofa for getting 30 relics (20 nett) and xdude for picking 11 cows (and win no, wait, he lost win by his opponent making illegal decks, apparently. Still awesome.)

Anyway, for my game:
Absol 3 - 0 drolly

A7 - Ghost of the Past - Target
B11 - Holy Cow
C1 - Procastination
D9 - Pharaoh
E5 - Holy Cow
F12 - Fate Egg
G6 - Reverse Time - Target
H3 - Catapult
I4 - Eternity - Target
J8 - Holy Light
K2 - Holy Cow

Holy Cow = 3
Relics spent = 0I know i should have taken 8 Holy Cows. Huh.
Since i despise Ghostmare very much, i make my deck a perfect counter to Ghostmare... I think. And yes, these decks are 20-pillar 30-card deck.

Game 1: Ghostmare. Just as planned. I start with full pillars. Managed to get a turn 3 Pharaoh. He used the Nightmare on GotP, but since my deck is a time deck, i ish winorz. GG.

Game 3: Winged Gargoyle Nightmare. Clogged my hands. But unfortunately, since my deck can operate without hand once a Pharaoh is out, i still snatch the win.GG drolly! Hope you build better decks for Round 6!

Absol 3 - 0 drolly

Very humiliating this time, being countered with the same 2 card deck every time. But good games, not that I didn't have any chance at all.

A7 - Ghost of the Past
B4 - Precognition
C2 - Holy Cow
D10 - Holy Cow
E1 - Holy Cow
F5 - Holy Cow
G9 - Nightmare - Target
H6 - Reverse Time - Target
I11 - Gargoyle
J8 - Dusk Mantle - Target
K12 - Wings
L3 - Devonian Dragon

Relics spent: 1

I considered these to be the best picks I've ever made. Ghostmare with twists, you know. But now play these with the following mark bans:  :darkness :earth :aether :air. The only remaining one is :time ... man, should've thought about that. Going for 40 card decks due to having picked 4 cows.

Match 1: Loss

Absol has already posted that he'd expected Ghostmares :( And I knew he'd play Pharaohs, he'd let that slip some minutes before in chat. Managed to surprise him with Reverse Time but the duel was a breeze for him essentially.

Match 2: Loss

Got him down to 20 HP. Perhaps I could have won if I had put out the 2 Dragons in my hand one turn earlier. He managed to stall enough with Eternity and Procrastination after having experienced a serious RL adrenaline rush (he told me so afterwards). And scarabs can fly and render Wings useless, I'll note that down for future reference ;)

My only chance left: surprising my opponent. Don't play that deck, bad draws are too common. It would have worked better if I had exchanged Wings for Dusks. Got 3 Gargoyles and no Stone Pillar, hope they weren't too heavy for the Scarab's stomachs.

Good games, Absol. The five desyncs we experienced were annoying but otherwise it was fun like every time with a good opponent.

Game 1: Really bad hand from nika. I got 2 spirits and a frog fairly quickly. Her golem never had the chance to threatened me, and I didn't need to play the 4 heals I had in hand nor draw a fractal.
Game 2: Her first egg gives a dragon, and the second gives a warden. I had a spirit and a few frogs. She nearly got me this time but on the last turn I finally gather enough quanta to fractal an upped frog to win me the game.
Game 3: Plenty of Drain Lives in starting hand and draw. Killed her first egg but not the second, and it becomes another dragon :(. She brings out more creatures as my dissipation shield is dissipating. But then three dragons came and screw the stalling ftw.
TIME is around us. It flows silently, trying to take everything away from us.
