What are the best cards to upgrade?

So what are the best and most worthwhile cards to upgrade, and how many of them should you upgrade? And by that I mean, pay 1500 electrum to upgrade. In other words, don't post cards that are easy to win from False Gods.

An example of a great card to upgrade is Supernova (6). It is used in almost every rainbow deck to date.

An example of a card not to upgrade is Pharaoh. Apart from being used in very few decks, it is easily winnable from Osiris.

A few of my picks include:

• Quantum Tower (7)
• Supernova (6)
• Cremation (6)

So what are some of the best cards in your opinion to upgrade, and how many?

Animate weapon. (6)
Antimatter (6)
Dim shields (6)

• Quantum Tower (7 or more)
• Supernovas (6)

These cards alone opens a lot of possibilities.
I don't see Cremation as important, because it only add 2 more and it doesn't open new possibilities.
Next more important are

• Ray of Light (6) (because they make possible the RoL/Hope deck)
• Animate Weapon (6) (it uses "other" quanta)
• Elite Queen (2) (because Elite Firefly produces )

Basically every card that opens new deck possibilities.

Nova has a different spectrum than SN.
Chaos Seed becomes Chaos Power.
Pandemonium targets only the opponent.
Mutation is much better. Idem for druid vs elf.

Yeah Entropy really worth upgrading.

Upgrade the cards you need for a deck you need to build. Upgrading cards with no deck idea in mind is just a waste of electrum. But if you want to waste electrum, upgrade all of your Relics (6+) before selling them.

SuperNovas + Quantum Towers... everything else can be upped after those two

a creature that devor smaller other creatur and gain +1/+1 is better whit 5 HP als 3HP or not?
can be used in rainbow deck and is not easy to gain with spin (only by DM)
 
supernova good choice but easy to have in spin against chaos lord (i will UP only if i want make a CCWB)
ray of light easy to have in spin against 2 or 3 FG too (i will UP only if i want make a rol hope deck)
my 3 choise are
oty, pulverizer and SoG (very usable in all deck and 5 HP every turn is not bad)

I'm a bit shocked no one has said hourglasses yet, that minus 1 helps decks a ton.

Omega makes a sober choice when he said Hourglass. Its the best hands down imho. They make rainbows MUCH more workable vs FGs. (No longer a fan of Hope Rol so Rays of Light are out)

For other AIs I dont have a clear choice. many options available but probably a quanta source like supernova or cremation.

While nowhere near the best to upgrade, Crusader is really nice with a tiny bonus in three different areas so I think it deserves a mention at the very least.

Wyrms when upped become suddenly.. Not useless.


Boneyard is probably among my least favorite when upped, it costs TWO more quanta for a somewhat minimal benefit.

Something even more depressing than not saying Hourglass, is not saying Shards... c'mon... wouldn't you rather have something that heals 5HP/turn, raises base health 20hp, or makes target creatures ability cost 0 better than the unupped, where it does nothing!? C'mon people...

Because now that you have them upped, you're gonna use them.   


(Same logic applies with Aflatoxin, Iridium Warden, Sky Blitz, Flooding , but just 6)
