Unofficial PvP Mini-Event: Triumvirate (Signups)

Hello there! Welcome to the forum's second mini-event,

TRIUMVIRATE

In short, a minievent is a 2-3 round long PVP event hosted for ~30 players. Each participant will battle each round, which will each last about 48 hours (extensions ma be given under certain circumstances). This particular event will be 3 rounds long, and players are expected to play a duel every round, so please only sign up if you think you can be here for a ~4-5 days.
Thanks to Acsabi44 for the first event, and the inspiration for this one. Please join if you are interested, as feedback is very helpful.

Since this is an unofficial event, the topics will be posted in General Discussion, and I will keep in contact with participants via PMs.
Here is the ruleset for this Mini-Event:

Minievent: Triumvirate
Caesar, Pompei and Crassus formed one of the most powerful and successful triumvirates the real world has ever known. Can you do the same in the Elements world? In this mini-event, participants will be randomly assigned teams each round, and compete for the most points! Of course, you and you partners may disagree as to what creatures you should take in to battle, what spells you should have at the ready, or even what pillars you want to use. This is meant to be. Through this event, you will be able to get to know other forum members better and learn valuable deckbuilding skills.

Guidelines
The General PVP Event rules apply here as well.
There can be anywhere from 12-24 players in this event, but a multiple of 3 is required.
Each player will play 1 duel every round, so a total of 3 duels during 3 rounds.
Each round will have different deckbuilding rules.
Each round will have a "Horoscope" (similar to Event Cards in War) which may affect deckbuilding, pairings, duels and/or scoring.
This is an unupped, no shard, no Nymph event. Other rares are allowed. *To make it more beginner-friendly. There will be no-rare tourneys as well as semi- or even fully upped ones and anything in between*
At the beginnning of each round, the rules for the day will be posted and the participiants will be paired randomly.
Feel free to deckbuild with your team, even though you may only be together for the round.
All participants will be notified by PM.
Scoring
After each duel, the winner must post the results in the current round topic. Decklists are mandatory as well.
If the duel does not happen, both players lose by default unless one was clearly more active.
Duels will be best of 3
After each round, the number of matches (best of 3) that your team won as a whole is the number of points you receive.
End of event
After 3 rounds, the player with the most points wins. If two or more players are tied for the first place, they will fight again, using the day3 round3 rules to determine the winner.
The winner of the event gets mad props. *If this goes official, there will be a forum icon and maybe some in-game reward as well*

I'm not sure I understand the team deck building aspect of this. Does it mean that all members of each team have to agree upon and use the same deck? It seems like it might be hard to enforce this, if your random opponent doesn't know what your teammates are using. When and where are decklists posted, and how is that information kept secret or released for proof of conformity? I like the idea behind this tournament a lot, but I'm confused, and a pvp noob.

Team deckbuilding is not necessary. The team aspect simply means that every member of a 3-man team on a certain day will receive the same score, so it is better if you work together. You need not use the same exact decks.

I don't understand at all what this is a signup for. Triumvirate... 0 directions as to what it is that makes it special, I don't see any description of what teammates do, and the link links to the OP about reviving the forum...

Didn't you do Acsabi44's PvP event? This is essentially the same thing, but with different rules and whatnot.

His PvP event wasn't team based, and it had an idea in my head for exactly what it would be like beforehand, this doesn't. I don't see how the teams are incorporated into this or how scoring will be done or anything. All I know is that your team gets 1 score for the whole team.

I'm in, but I'd like to make a suggestion? Please don't RNG the teams every round. Do it at the start, and have the same teams throughout the event. Doesn't seem to make much sense to change team mates every day. Besides that, sounds like fun

@Everyone else's confusion: It's not too complicated. Everyone is assigned a team of 3. For each duel that members of your team win, you all get a point. Thus, it is valuable to work together on creating the best PvP decks possible to ensure victory. It's a team building exercise that also gives the noobier players an opportunity to learn from others, and it's genius, much like the creator of the event.

...See what I did there, with the genius, and the...? You know what, forget it.
