I say not needed, especially if people know who they are facing the round before.  That way they can schedule ahead of time.

I like the 2 day idea.  It gives much greater flexibility in scheduling, and we can still do one a week.

If we had 48 hour windows to play our game, then I could probably play. This weekend is a little busy for me, but I think I would have time with 48 hours to work with per match.

Yes this is true for all PvP Events.

It will be 48hrs for now, or similar.
By similar I mean I will post the matchups in advande, so even if the round won't last for 2 entire days, you will still have around 48hrs to schedule your match.
I feel that a full 48hours round is too long, but ofcourse we can do that on demand.
