Hmm so what are the most overpriced cards which would always be worse than another card+additional pillars?
Relic. Its a dead card.

Lo and behold, I found the topic of my next strategic analysis.

Great! Don't keep the result to yourself!
My default opinion of a new card is OP. Your job as a card creator will have to be to convince me otherwise.

Exactly! Go go go, anti-DiscHole & anti-Pestal deck! Quanta denial doesn't work if you're all out of quanta! :P :P :P

I think we are talking about casting cost here

The most overprized card is flooding. Guise do yourselves a favor and put a water pillar in instead. Believe me, your deck will improve.

Utterly biased conclusion. Remove your Flooding, then face a Pharaoh/FFQ/Fractal/Mitosis/creature-spamming deck and see if your +1 Water Pillar is going to help you. ::)

If your deck actually has a stalling strategy, flooding is very good.  2 squids or 1 auburn nymph can shut down entire opponent's field.
