The first upgraded card I ever bought was a Horned Frog, for a monolife ai3 grinder.  I sold my entire collection after my first week or so playing, and upped everything I could, starting with frogs.

The first upgraded card I won was a relic from a FG with scaredgirl's rainbow.  Not sure which god, but that narrows it down quite a bit :p

Fire Lance. I upped it manually.
I know that it sounds moot, but back in the day when there was no Ragepot, a Firelance was a reasonable form of CC, much better than a Bolt.

mine was a nightfall because i was originally just using a mono darkness deck and wanted the extra DMG XD

Maxwells Demon. My first try of the scaredgirl rainbow deck vs the first halfblood out of three that i intended to do to get a feel of the deck before going after FGs exclusively.

Arsenic from 500pt. quest upgraded manually back when I ran a Grav/death deck. First (and I believe only) won was Eagle's eye I believe from a halfblood

Didnt upgrade it yet but im thinking about a phase dragon or a lobotomizer

Upgrade the lobo its good fro the RoL/Hope deck. But more importantly i would just wait and upgrade the 6 photons so you can go fg hunting and slaying.
