That it will make it easier to get to FG farming since shards will work unupped as well. Makes the game much more newb friendly, and much less of a grindfest in the early stages.

Background changes.  I love Life's and am also very excited about the fact that Earth and Time are now very distinct from one another (consequently meaning that deck categorization will be much easier when the image builder is updated :D).

I'm not really a fan of the bands, but i LOVE the new backgrounds!
I'm always happy when there are new cards, but it's to early to know how the shards will be out of beta.

I agree with the new backgrounds. The stripes are very nice too, but they could be better placed, and the shards being usable unupped is also very sweet.

the unupped shards working.  when every deck needs 6 copies of an upped rare to be competitive, the game is definitely not new friendly.
