Question about all the new cards...

The thing that pissed me off in this thread is that the original poster asked a question, and Xdude told him to search the forums; but after hearing the reply, he said no and STILL asked for food to be inserted into his mouth. I have never seen laziness like this before.

The point is not whether I searched for (or found) my answer.  You didn't tell me to search the forums, the reply was a sarcastic rhetorical question implying that my question was not worth the time for anyone to answer.

But then several posters wasted plenty of time stating how stupid my question was, how lazy I am, and how 'noobs' always post stupid questions without searching.

FYI, I have been playing Elements for nearly a year, and I was encouraged by someone to post here (on the friendly, helpful forums) after I expressed I was bored with the game.

In case this has escaped everyone, my question was meant to spur discussion about the new cards being geared toward rainbow decks (or not).

Most of the people on these forums - especially those that have put a lot of effort into this game - have been anything BUT unhelpful. The point of the original response was to say there have already been a ton of threads about this topic, what is the reason to start a new one? The original post didn't really look like a conversation starter, just a simple question.

I'm probably going to regret getting myself involved in this thread, but I'm going to say it anyway.

I am absolutely stunned by the intense level of immaturity displayed here by ALL involved. 

The original post did not look to me like a discussion-starter.  It looked like a misguided question.  This is absolutely no reason to bash the original poster, especially when the misguided question was from a newcomer to the forum.

Bloodshadow and xdude, please do not push all of the new players away with such hateful comments.  There are better ways to get your point across.  TheMonolith, while I understand your frustration, you could have done without the huge attitude.

I'm sorry for stepping in here, as I know it's not my place.  But really, guys?  Really?  Part of what makes Elements such a great game is it's community.  Please keep it that way.

I didn't bash that guy. I just made a sarcastic comment, since he seemed to be VERY indignant because of the uselessness of the new cards. After that, he asked if I find his post useless, and I said yes (because it seemed like an unfair whine). Than everybody started bashing him. Afterwards he made an even bigger whiner post in which he bashed everybody, which got me pissed off. Yeah, I might have gone a little overkill, but really, after posting for the 4th time and still not searching the forums I really don't think I could do anything else (except doing nothing).

Though, you are right, I got a little tensed over there.

I had to remove/edit some posts which I absolutely hate because that's time I could spend doing something useful.

I personally don't see anything wrong with the original question. It's a valid question about whether the new cards have enough synergy in mono/duo decks or not which has nothing to do with the ability to use the forum search function or not. Of course it could have been worded a bit differently and the defensive attitude was uncalled for.

The attitude I've seen from most people on this thread has to change right now, especially from anyone with "Master" in their title. I cannot even express how disappointing that is to see. Community vote is coming around the corner so all the Masters should probably adjust their behavior accordingly.
