Eagles eye and Farenheit both got crappy upgrades. Same with a couple others.

Save those weapons for your last upgrade- as others suggested.

I've gotten to the point in the rainbow deck guide where it tells me to upgrade owl's eye in order to get a reduced cost. however after checking I see it still costs the same to summon and use its special ability.

The only difference is that it does 2 more damage. No reduced cost to summon or use its ability and no increased damage on the ability itself. Just a mere 2 points of damage increase.

Is this really worth upgrading?

Personally I don't think so, but what do you all think?

Imo It's really only worth upgrading for pvp.  For farming gods the 2 extra damage won't make much of a difference.

It is worth it only if everything else is upgraded first, IMHO.

I think that's expecially true for fahrenheit. Eeye has a little difference in pvp with +2 damage, fahreneit with only +1 has a ridicolous upgrade.
But we have to keep in mind that most of weapons without an ability with activation cost are not so much different from their upgrades: jade staff, titan, arsenic, morning star, discord;  are better if upgraded, but their key is in the ability that's always the same. Only stiletto improves his ability with upgraded damage, but it simply becomes playable (as unupraded tends to be an useless card).

I'm pretty sure the RT ability on Eternity was kept at 3 when upgraded for a reason, that being it would be insanely abusable if it were too cheap. As it is right now, 3 quanta isn't too cheap, nor is it too expensive.

Just use OE until you win an EE from Fire Queen or Rainbow. Don't waste your money.

at least both of those are better than the eternity upgrade.  they could have at least done a -1 to ability cost.
