I think it is a mono death with SoSac. Beating 12 SoSac is extremely harsh.

That's Willing's deck. Yeah it's a 12SoSac deck.
Yeah a rank of 1100 is among the greatest ones.
In fact, it may be the highest one since Arena is out of beta.

It's mainly a combination of getting a lot of plays early on and building a deck with 12 Shards of Sacrifice...which is currently a very broken card.  But yes, with as much luck almost anyone can reach that same position :)
