BOOSTER DRAFTING
a PvP Mini-Event

Players are divided into groups and then take turns drafting cards from Elements booster packs.  Groups play matches in a round robin, then the top players are seeded in an elimination tournament World Cup style.  The last player standing is the winner.

Live drafting happens on Saturday December 29th at noon (EST).  Drafting Begins

BOOSTER DRAFT

• In chat /join #etgtournaments on Sat Dec 29th.
• Participants will be divided into groups.  Group size will depend on the total number of players.
• Each player gets a secret pad where their pack is posted.
• A booster pack consisting of 15 cards will be listed on the pad.  Each player picks one card by removing it from the list and adding it to their pad.  The leftover cards from the pack are then passed to the next player and you receive the pack from the previous player.
  eg. player 1 in the group will pass their pack to Player 2, P2 to P3, P3 to P4, P4 to P1.
• Each booster pack is randomly generated and will contain 1 rare, 3 uncommons and 11 commons with a small chance of an epic replacing a common (see rarity lists below).
• Time limit of one minute to make each pick.  Five minute break may be given between packs if required.
• Once all 15 cards are picked each player then receives a new pack and passing order is reversed.
• Six packs total, 90 cards picked per player.
• Booster drafting will take place secretly with pads.  Once drafting is complete card lists will be made public.

MATCHES

• Matches are best of three, first to win two games.
• You may change your deck between games in a match.
• Decks consist only of the cards you drafted and only in the amount you drafted them in. 
  eg. if among your 90 cards you managed to draft 3 Crimson Dragons, your decks can have a maximum of 3 Crimson Dragons.
• Unlimited Pillars and Pendulums may be used in decks.
• Unupgraded
• Winner and loser both post their decks in this thread after a match.  A short match description is encouraged but not required.

SCHEDULE

• Sat Dec 29th - Live booster drafting, expected to take 1.5 - 2 hours.
• Sat Dec 29th to Tues Jan 1st - Round robin matches against each player in your group.
• Wed Jan 2nd - Elimination tournament begins (2 days per match).

Size of groups and elimination tournament eligibility depend on the number of participants.
