Is there a way to pvp yourself? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=16096.msg206198#msg206198

Wouldn't that be a very fun and interesting feature if there is a feature such as this? You can see how the AI uses your deck and compare how you and the computer optimizes it. I once had this weird bug when i clicked on "PVP" and it matched me up with myself, the opponent didn't respond (of course), and the AI took over and it was so fun. We each had a different hand and let luck decide who won. Oh and of course it is also funny to watch if the AI uses your deck better than you do or is incapable of using the deck's strategy at all... Criticism of the idea is also allowed in this topic

Hrmm... I don't think you should be able to win any E off of it. Waaay too easy.
Well no but it would be fun.

Well, if you're on top50, you can duel yourself. You're right in the sense that it helps in seeing how AI plays your deck. For example, many top50 people used mono :earth shrieker rush to farm top50, since even if they meet themselves, the computer sucks in playing shrieker rush (burrowing).

You *could* open two browsers and log in with the same account, then pvp duel yourself, but I don't know how it would work out. You could make an alternate account, farm it enough, then make your deck and let the two accounts fight. However, I'm not sure but I've heard from somewhere that the system sometimes catches that has hacking/exploit, and you could potentially get auto-banned.

So, the conclusion is: don't try it.

Yeah the open two browsers is a good way to do it... then just leave the game on one of the windows... and play the AI. I have a really hard time seeing how that would be hacking... considering that you are earning no electrum and no spins.

I wish there was a Ghost button, where you could play a AI version of you, without being in T50, just imagine! The AI copys all your moves, your deck, your hand, it would be fun.  :P

Is this sarcasm? I can't tell if something is sarcasm by reading it, only hearing it. First of all, you would obviously have different hands because when i played myself in PVP we started off with completely different hands. Plus computers can either use your stategy better than you use it or worse than you use it. Playing your ghost would obviously help you see what works and doesn't work in your deck. Not to mention its just plain fun. :D

More generally, it would help a lot if you could choose the deck the AI plays (with no rewards, ofc.) I mean, you could choose the cards in it.

That would help playtesting a lot.

Agreed. Even if the ai played suboptimumly, it would give you some idea of how your deck did.

Yeah it would take some work, but that would be a very nice addition to the trainer imo. Especially if it let you give the ai fg properties so you could test decks vs specific FGs or fg proposal decks.

There's an uncommon bug that let's you play against yourself in PvP. Has happened to me twice, and other people have mentioned it as well.

I dont think playing yourself in PvP seems fair but I am not sure what anyone can do that is bad either.

Also agreed. Maybe you can even try and see what versions of your deck is better?
