First and foremost I have to ask my Death Master Mr.Blonde for forgiveness and warmasters Kael Hate and ddevans for possibly delaying war or causing problems.
I bear the responsibility for leaving and should have double checked the info about war being canceled.
Here is what happened from my side.
I was sick, really sick in the flue with heavy fevers and migraines and puking. It did not even occur to me that it was april the first/fools day and due to my debilitated mental state due to sickness and from all the whining and community discussions prior to that april the first and taking into account that in the past if things are getting delayed or enough problems arise, Staff with SG in the lead take drastic measures, and make major changes to save events from disaster and not allow events to fall apart.
This is why I in my bad state believed that post.
Note: I only skimmed SGs post, my migraine prevented me from doing anything else and after that I was bedridden for 7 days and did not touch a computer at all. This is however not an excuse, one should always check back twice and make sure that what you have read and understood is correct. Due to my sickness i never did this, and that I was feed up with the previous discussions. Ive been told that some have argued on my behalf about my personal family tragedies of my grandmother passing away and my dog of 14 years etc in the month/weeks prior. This had nothing to do with it, I'm a grown and adult man and such is life.
I was simply very sick and in a bad position. With the wrong circumstances that caused a lack of judgement.
And for this Im am solely responsible. If able or possible I am willing to make amends and/or be booted from the next war.
And once again, I'm sorry MrBlonde, fellow Team Death members, War Staff and and all other participants for any organization problems, inconveniences and/or penalties I may have caused.
