Elements is a really good game because...

... you can come home tired from work, saying "let's relax with a few games", and than have 4 consecutive wins in gold league with 3 EM, for about  1.200 E, breaking through arena deck level 58 (so close to leave GOLD) and special spinning an improved eternity.

just wanted to share the good time this game just gave me.
but let's talk about it:

Seriously. Without this forum I wouldn't play half as much or would have stopped playing already.

The community is arguably the best part of the game.

Most of the time, I only do my daily Oracle spin, play the Oracle FG, and call it a day. Otherwise, the only times that I will actually be grinding are when I'm doing TTW studies or preparing for major upped events like Trials. Forums, chat, and forum staff duties have replaced a lot of my Elements time x)

I think it's 50/50. Both the game and the community are important. If the game was horrible, it would be impossible to build a community around it.

Elements is great for community building because of the 12 different elements, and all the million things you can build around them, events, competitions, etc. If there were only 3-4 different "factions", things would be much more difficult. Just imagine War with only 4 teams and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Because the RPG aspect is very addictive, and even if I have every cards upped 6times I keep grinding for score.. posting arena deck is very interressant too.

PvP event are just awesome and a very good way to spend time.

And finally what made me totally is the community. There are here too much VERY nice people around that is just unbelievable..

Mhm, definitely agreeing with SG on this one.  I'm constantly finding new things to test out and use in the game despite the fact that I've been playing for over a year and its relatively small card base (in comparison to other card games).  I actually like the amount of cards we have and receive because it gives us new options to play with in duels while still encouraging us to experiment with various combinations to see how they perform.  If the card base was terribly big I think I would feel overwhelmed by the number of choices which would in turn cause me to rely on the most obvious synergies rather than the ones that aren't easily noticed but still extremely powerful.

The community is great and very informative.  I consider the community to do a pretty good job at making newer players feel welcomed, although there are always those people who feel it is their duty to make newbies feel inferior.

However, above all of these I think the best thing is knowing that the developer of this game we spend so much of our time on is constantly listening to our suggestions and is looking to make this addictive game even more fun for all of us.

I like to see the game growing, every time there is a new update i run to see what's new.
When there are new cards, i run to get them and to try some combinations.
And it's wonderful that the game evolve on community feedbacks. Well, not always, but we can make cards for the game! It's awesome!

Also, i like to partecipate in competitions, mostly creative ones, but i did some PvP weekly tournament when i'm home and i got the time to play. Never won more than few rounds, but the preparation gave me a boost of motivation in deckbuilding, testing, simulating, thinking of what kind of decks i might encounter and how to counter them.

Like TheManuz said, every update is exciting, even if you do not fall in love with every card.  It is always fun to create, experiment, and share.
