At the moment, it's impossible to start with a multiple mark.

It's entirely possible to win with a completely unupgraded deck, but the probabilities.... :\

Well, if you're level is 30 or higher, you can put them all into the mark category of your arena deck, so your arena deck has a triple mark. To get a multiplier for your own mark, then the only way is to actually get a mark of the element that is the  same to your mark. It will then stack on your mark and be resistant to EQ.
There's really not any definite number of upgraded cards you need to beat them. You can use a completely unupped deck, 1 upped, 2 upped....

In short, you can only get double mark or triple mark using a mark card.
What is a mark card? It is like a pillar. The only differences are it's limited to 6 per deck AND it's resistant against earthquake.
Where to get one? Tournament.

Now I have about 1050 score and I "easly" beat level-3 opponents, but I still lose against level-4 and Arena's Bronze decks.
(I haven't upgraded cards yet).

Is it normal or I am doing something wrong?

it depends on the type of deck you are using

against AI4, you may need a semi-upgraded deck to farm it decently, although ive heard mono-aether can do the trick too
against bronze, it could have been bad luck or its because you are not using a god enough deck

decks using upgraded cards usually perform better so try to upgrade your cards

You can kill AI4 with an unupped mono aether, unppd instosis or fast draw or a time bow or an unupped fire stall. other unupped deck looses too much

Mono aether usually does okay against halfbloods. As for bronze, that's a bit trickier, since the decks are way more varied. A simple rainbow or immorush could do quite nicely though. If you go down the rainbow path, consider upping novas to supernovas for faster quanta generation.
