An Interesting Way to Approach Dueling

I was freezing my own creatures who had been affected by Antimatter..

I never had this idea before so I thought it would be kinda cool to share how I won this Gold Arena duel for a special spin

Have any other ways to approach dueling?

Yeah, it's a good strategy to do in some cases.  Sometimes with a little thinking outside the box, you can do some pretty funny things.  I've used Quintessence on opponent's unbuffed dune scorpions, for example, to prevent them ever becoming buffed.  The funniest one I've done (and I do it all the time now) was the day when I had PAed my quantum tower stack, then tried to use a nymph queen on it, and realized I'd just screwed my nymph queen.  Then I realized... holy crap, Jezebel counter... lol.

Antimatter'ing your own Purple Nymph to avoid Fire Shield and Thorn Carapace is pretty popular.

Of course this is just based on what I've heard as I don't own a Purple Nymph.  Now if you'll excuse me, I have a box of mini donuts to devour.

Basilisk blooding your shriekers when they're antimattered. Or immolating an antimattered/frozen creature (AI loves that) can be pretty helpful.

Using Chaos Power on the opponent's creature, hoping it'll have more attack than HP so you can kill it with Maxwell's Demon.

Using buffs so opposing creatures can't pass the Gravity shield is pretty cool.

Killing my own creature to feed bone wall is pretty fun too

A classic : hurting your creatures to go through gravy shield.
Less classic : buffing ai's creature to death so it antimatters it.

Very cool thread so far! So many strategies the AI would never use.

Using Miracle + Pandemonium to get an EM.
Healing the opponent or killing off your own creatures until you have enough quanta to get an EM.
