I found this very fun (and will say that having events where the 30post limit is waived is really good  :D ).

The Rules of the Round were a good idea in my opinion. Although I usually didn't bother with them, they offered an interesting trade-off between going for a more normal deck that you know is consistent, and trying something unusual in the hopes of scoring bonus points.

My favourite one was the first round, as it forced you to not take complete mono-decks (Being rather new to PVP and a lot more confident in my ability to build mono-decks than balancing out a duo, it was nice to be forced outside of my comfort zone a bit).

The two-day timing was good in my opinion. I have a busy schedule and especially when the two days were my two busiest days of the week it was useful.

As far as points, unless you have someone really dominating the competition, in an event like this you will get a few people with around the same amount of points. One thing that might be do better to do is instead of having it completely random after round 1, pair people of similar point values against each other, in a pseudo-swiss system.

Thanks for doing this, I had a really fun time.

I thought it was a great event, Acsabi44. There were some good rules and I liked how you added optional rules for bonus points. Another thing I liked was your short bits of storytelling. I think it adds some depth, context, and well, fun to the whole thing. You've given me a few ideas for my own event if I get some time to set it up. Thanks again for hosting this.

I loved the times, especially since irl kept getting in my way as the event got further into the week (Monday.. now it is Wednesday... and Wednesday goes from being totally free to totally booked in no time?!?! What the...). Before then, however, I was available all the time. Thankfully the 24 hours made it so that I had Thursday. My only complaint was that the timing wasn't consistent throughout. I got used to it ending on 7:00ishPM of my time and now it is like 5:00PM or 5:30PM ending? What the....

High School gets in the way a bit for me but I was still able to do all my matches. If the time was even 20 hours I wouldn't have been able to do most of my matches.

Seems that I need to explain further, although it is kinda embarrassing. I checked the round 3 topic. It says that if the opponent doesn't show up then I should play with the tournament organizer. But that's not the case here, because we got extension to play our games. And even if we wouldn't have got this extension, even then I could know if my opponent shows up or doesn't shortly before the deadline or shortly after that. Everything was correct: I knew that shortly before the deadline that bjess will send a PM to ask for further instructions. He promised to send of the copy of that answer to me. That is what he did. I thought that problem was solved, because we didn't see any indication to 12 hours or any indication to the possible solution of playng with the event organizer. It is just a total absurd to hear that we got only 12 hours only after those 12 hours were over. You just can't decide the result of the the event (and even winners) like that, because it nullifies not only the last round of ours but also all other previous efforts. Other players have to play in unfair competion too. Further: even if this extension time was over, there was still no reason just to end up an event and not to offer games to player who can play. I really wouldn't like to indicate to such things anymore and hopefully rules will be clear enough and also followed by the event organizer. in  the future.

what u complaining about you didn't miss out on getting anything everyone who followed this thread from the start will know you won and the only reason you weren't marked as first was for a technicality its ot like you have lost a chance to get a card as it was unofficial the only thing you could get as reputation and i believe acsabi gave everyone who participated some reputation and anyway officially you were added on after the tourney started you replaced someone in the first round you can't complain really there mat of been loads of people who signed up before the tourney started but didn't get in so gave up but you got added on after the tourney started this was acsabis first tourney s he has a right to make mistakes as far as i'm aware it was started to try and keep elements alive during zanzs absence at least he tried to do something to keep it alive cut him some slack.
love makin my decks unusual if able. Chaos and luck are widely regarded as different i beg to differ just refer to :entropy but for those in the know also refer to :time and :death.

I agree with Pervepic but I do think that we should cut him some slack for now. In the future though, these mistakes should be corrected and I am glad you are making sure they are emphasized. He can only learn through mistakes, after all. ^.^'

IMO perv is right here. I messed up, mostly due to my organizing inexperience.

I found this very fun (and will say that having events where the 30post limit is waived is really good  :D ).

The only event with a 30-post limit is tournaments. All official PvP Events, leagues, war, etc can be played with less than 30 posts.
