Top50 for 50 different players

Lately I've got more and more annoyed about the fact that some people like to post their scores multiple times to Top50 list within one week. Now it's gone so bad, that the number of different people in this weeks list has gone down to 35! That makes playing L4 even more boring as it normally is with such a big amount of non-biting farms.

I also like to point out that this "multiple farms from same player" thingy might have something to do with the War starting... Maybe the Mods of War should look at the situation, and react to it?

My suggestion is that if this thing doesn't get fixed by itself, "the Highscores button" for uploading your score should be coded in same way as "the Oracle button" and you could use it (Highscores button) only once a week.

Frankly, being able to view scores only once per week is a terrible idea.  Even only being able to submit once per week isn't a very nice idea. 

What really needs to happen is that viewing high scores becomes independent of submitting your own score -- and each score submitted by the same account name replaces the last.  This will ensure that no one will accidentally end up on the t50 multiple times, no one will have to submit their score if they don't want to, and it will keep people from intentionally placing themselves in the t50 multiple times. 

However, this is all easier said than done.  It takes time and effort, and would likely involve the coding of an entirely new high-score system and table, independent of Mochi.

You can view highscores list without submitting. List doesn't show up (for me) at
http://elementsthegame.com/ or http://elementsthegame.net/ but it becomes visible at
http://elementsthegame.com/spectate site (by clicking the black area below the "Comments" box). Some bugs must be causing these problems, since they used to be visible at game sites earlier.
