This idea came to me after reading the "PvP Reward" thread in the general discussion. I didn't want to completely hijack the other person's thread and this is its own idea.
It would be nice if you could win upgraded cards against people who use upgraded cards.
My deck isn't built for False Gods. I tried grinding them for a day and won a couple spins, but it's incredibly boring to me.
It would only be nice in the sense that people would completely abuse that. Upgraded cards are not, and should not, be easy to come by, which is why they cost as much as they do, and are only winnable from the toughest of AI
You're probably right (and I would rather have the entire upgrade system removed from the game), but it doesn't change the fact that False God farming is incredibly boring to me. Upgrades are here to stay, so how about this:
Create two options for PvP: Normal and Reward+
1) Normal remains the same as the existing PvP system.
2) Participating in Reward+ is completely optional.
In reward plus, you have the chance to spin for all upgraded versions of the opponent's deck. If you win, you win the upgraded card and the loser as that same card downgraded to the normal version.
I suspect the "abuse" comes from people handing out upgrades right and left, flooding the market with these rare cards. In this system, the number of upgraded cards that have been generated remains the same. The game should also only match people against opponents with the same number of upgrades. (This doesn't have to be exact. It could be done in a tier system or something.)
I don't think this would be an easy way to get upgraded cards.
Forced False God farming isn't fun. I'd rather play the game.
