Better indicator that shields (dim, wings) used up their turns? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=32408.msg409471#msg409471

Ok, maybe it's just me, but I just needlessly lost another game using Flay 'Em because I forgot to play the next dim shield. The old shield is still standing there and only disappears after I played my turn (and I get really angry with myself  :) ). In long games I tend to lose concentration. Can't the shield disappear earlier, i.e. before my turn starts? Maybe at least make that zero flashing?

I agree. While i don't like the idea of shield disappearing at the start of its last turn (turn decrease happens at the end of turn for every card), i think that a flashing zero is a simple and clean solution.

It's just something you have to get used to. A "0" on the card means it's going to disappear when you press spacebar.

Damnit, it just happened again, was cruising to victory against Elidnis, had two shields in hand but forgot to play one. So I'll bump my suggestion. :)

Look at the number on the shield. If it is zero, put up a new one.
