I would like to remind everyone that you shouldn't use these numbers alone to evaluate the performance of these Council Members. These numbers are missing the quality aspect, so having a large post count could potentially mean that the member has posted lots of three-word replies, while a person with a lower post count could potentially have posted 1000 words replies of high quality. Then again it might be vice versa. What I am trying to say is that you shouldn't blindly trust those numbers.

"Original Topics" means topics that Council Members started without me, or anyone else, asking them to do so. These topics are important because they show initiative and offer original ideas and suggestions, instead of simply replying to topics made by others.

I would also like to add that the 1st Council had to work hard on recruiting new people. This is why there is a relative small number of original topics. 2nd Council has less recruiting tasks, so we will probably see more original ideas.

Use this topic to explain why everyone should vote for you. You are allowed to post multiple times as long as you don't start spamming.

Hello again everyone, my name is Dragoon1140.  If one does not know me, I've ran on the previous Council for three months and have been a Competition Organizer for about two months.  I try my hardest in both positions, and I make sure as many people as possible go without asking any questions.  I also make videos in my spare time, and, even though I have been slacking lately when it comes to making them, I plan to produce more videos in the near future.

In regards to this last Council, I posted.  A lot.  I've been active during the entire duration of my serving, and I am proud to say that I've voted in every single poll ran.  As you can see in the chart above, I have the second most posts among all Council Members.  I've also posted (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13720.0.html) quite a few threads (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,15005.0.html) in the hopes of trying to make Council as open as possible.

However, I need everybody's help again.  I would love for the opportunity to serve another term as a Council Member of this community.  I received the third-most votes in the Council poll ran three months ago, which was amazing in itself, and I hope to replicate it again this time around.

As a very active member of Elements Forum, I can say I'm glad to see this community grow and prosper, as those who I've helped know. Wanting to give a new voice in the Council of Elements, I'm sure I would make an excellent addition to the team.

I am coinich, former Master of Death!  I have been here since before Time (I mean these forums) existed!  I am coinich, who only wishes to help!

I also want to give back to the community.  It was nice being Master of Death, and I like seeing the work I put into the Death section of the forums.  I was able to help out, and I wish to again.  The forums are busier and more active than I've ever seen them, and I wish to help out.

I've been an active member of the community for over a year now, posting card ideas, game suggestions, and just generally helping out.  I've published not only a link to a probability calculator, I've also posted an explanation for it and wrote a program to graph out thousands of scenarios with the draw calculator itself.  Other works include a Creature Evaluator that attempted to test how certain creatures measure up to one another in cost.  I've participated in both Wars, as a member of Team and currently as a member of Team .  If there were any other doubts about me staying with the community, please note that I spent 5 years in other communities that I still post in today.  I've had moderator experience elsewhere and I believe I could easily handle being apart of another community organization.

I wish to help out the forums further, so help me help you!

 The Xenocider Is Back.


I'm a fairly ol' timer, lurking since January, and I'm online almost every single day. I usually don't post that much, but I am active. I think I might be a good addition, and I want to see the whole forum grow and prosper. Even though I'm going through pressured times, I devote almost all my computer time to the forums, and will do anything to help achieve a goal. Sometimes, I have to give up one for another, but that's life (No Pun Intended). I can be fairly creative, and I don't wish to brag about myself now too much. And I am never biased if something doesn't involve me. I would love to be in the council. And I'm also available in chat too.

But here's a bullet form of my awesomeness....

Ah, words. Funny little things. Non-fiction has always confused me a little, because no matter what I tell you about myself, the only reliable way to know for sure is to find out on your own. I suppose a summary is handy in the end, though, but.. perhaps there are some things I can say that are not immediately researchable.

I'm Higs. Yeah, everyone calls me that. I have about 50 nicknames on my long username, including Higu, Hugs, Higgles, Higsalot, and one I'm less proud of: Higglepuff. Please don't call me that, though.
If you want more nicknames, you need only become a regular on IRC.. long nicks always get shortened, which leads to things.. anyway, back to the topic.

I can certainly be mean when I want to, but it's all in good fun. My goal in life is to help people. So, when I joined this community, I became attached rather quickly. There was an endless demand of help with everything from deck-building to card concepts and curious things about life. I started joining tournaments immediately. Though I was nervous, I realised it was the quickest way to improve. Once I got a grasp of that, I could actually help the other participants get through the same chaos I had to struggle with. While I always love a good fight, verbally, physically or in-game, it felt really nice.

When I became Tournament Organizer, it was a bit overwhelming at first, but I soon delved deep into the PvP aspects of this community. It was perfect for me, because it's a sector where you get to work really close with the people. I'm applying for PvP Event Organizer as well, just so I get the chance to invest more time and care into organizing what I think is one of the funniest, most rewarding part of Elements: people coming together to play the game in the most challenging way possible.

Since I became part of the staff, I quickly noticed how engaged my fellow staff members were. I think it's rather astounding how far we've come with just the initiative of a couple people. I am no longer hesitant about new ideas on this forum. Huge projects that may seem impossible to pull off are just no sweat with so many engaged individuals. I see huge potential in the people that join here every day, and I hear of so many fun initiatives every day. I want to make those aspirations real. I want everyone to see what I see: how the community is one big ball of energy that can accomplish anything if it sets its mind to it.

I can do naught but repeat myself from the last council poll thread. A vote for me is a vote for someone who will listen, understand, and voice your opinions and ideas excellently to the rest of the staff. ^_^

Goodness, where on earth do I begin?  It feels like only yesterday that I signed up to be a part of this community.  I started off as a passionate man who desired to learn all he could about Elements and to assist others in their desire to do the same throughout the way.  I am a kind, honest person who desires to uphold the truest meaning of justice above any and all other ideals which lie before me.  I dislike conflict and will avoid arguments in order to see peace maintained in the community.  Despite this, there comes a time when one cannot sit idle by the side and let the seeds of chaos run rampant upon that place which he calls home.  Keeping these ideals in mind I have done my best to use my strengths to assist the community by whatever means necessary.  I may not be the oldest or the most experienced, or the funniest or the most favored, but I can say with confidence that I have the most passion to see this community grow and keep this wonderful game alive.  I have done several things throughout my time here on Elements Forums, none of which I feel I need to use for bragging rights; the majority of you know who I am and what I stand for, I trust that you will do in your heart what is right here.

It is my sincerest hope that I am able to do more for the rest of this community; your assistance is needed to make this dream a reality.
