I am so unreasonably happy that this is still going. Checking in again just to participate!
Tell me more about this, so I know where you're going with this one.
At some point when I was not there to witness him, Zack ingested a substance that is poisonous to humans. There's nothing strange about his situation at all!
This one too.
Anyone without an alibi could have entered the drivers cart, killed the three people inside with any conventional weapon, smashed the windows, then left without me noticing. I see nothing strange about this at all!
Tell me more about this one too.
Any of the missing people could be trapped or hiding in one of the carts that I have not personally searched. There's nothing strange about this at all!
Also, I'm just musing here about my route in the story line to collect my thoughts.
This is the order through which I moved about the train car.
First, I was on the station platform. I then boarded the train on Cart 4, entering from the bottom floor. I move upstairs after passing by the entire bottom floor.
Next, I move to the diner's cart temporarily, which is possible without descending. I return to my seat in Cart 4.
At this point in time, the layout of the car means that everyone who exists in the story must be divided by my position. In other words, I can sort everyone into being in my position in Cart 4, in the carts ahead of me, and the carts behind me.
I request an acknowledgement of this statement in black:
"While I was sitting in the 4th Cart upstairs, it was not possible for a person in the later carts to pass into the earlier carts, or vice versa, without me noticing their existence."
A bunch of stuff happens, but I stay in Cart 4. I descend at some point to check on Zack.
At this point, because I am downstairs, it's possible for anyone to pass through Cart 4 upstairs without me noticing. This means that in only the brief period that I was there, I can only account for alibis for the few people on the floor. Everyone else has free reign to make absolutely anything happen and to shuffle positions without me noticing.
I then move into the diner's cart again. At this point, things had happened in the diner's cart without me noticing. I can white truth this.
It's possible for any of the mysterious events in the diner's cart to have been instigated by any person who was on a later cart than me for the entire time I was sitting down in Cart 4. Any person who I did not have direct line of sight during this period had more than enough time to cause any kind of commotion. Nothing strange here, as far as I see.
I then move down the diner's cart stairs.
At this point I appear to be alone in an isolated area. I was not there long, but it's more than enough time for any positions to have to be reaccounted for. Anyone on the train can move to any other spot on the train at this point in time without me noticing.
I then move to the second cart downstairs. I request clarification - Is this physically possible without me moving upstairs again? I'm not 100% sure on the layout of the train here.
After that, I move into the driver's cart, or Cart 1. At this point things are crazy in there, but there's nothing too weird about it. It was the first time I was in the drivers cart, so there's basically an infinite amount of time that any person could have performed those murders. Because I was isolated at least one point in time, nobody on the train has a reliable alibi. There are however some time sensitive situations, so I can't just use a sweeping truth to make you cover everything in one go.
I'll start with that for now.
