What if the DI kicked rather than punched their way out the glass?

I'll follow on from Eva with the murder.
The DI came through the window. When you heard knocking on the door, it came from the lady who you don't know. when the DI escaped the shower, he saw the woman fiddling with the ring. The woman tried to get away but since she was shocked to see the DI and somehow, the ring got lodged in the girls throat where she choked to death.

The woman's death is related to the DI's escape.

A woman happened to see you burst out of the house cursing about filling a shower to kill someone before stealing a car. Heroically, she ran into the house and smashed the shower by throwing heavy objects at the show from the doorway. The DI regained consciousness to see a woman hurling heavy objects at him, and so when the glass was broken went and killed her by choking her. After realizing his crime, the DI then moved the body into the other room, stole the ring and ran away to start a new life in Cuba.

A woman (who happened to own a high caliber rifle and be able to operate it effectively) happened to see you burst out of the house cursing about filling a shower to kill someone before stealing a car. Heroically, she ran into the house and told the now conscious DI to crouch in the bottom of the shower. She then ran outside (or into the room behind) with her high caliber rifle and shot so that the bullet penetrated the shower wall, and then the glass wall hence, breaking the glass from inside the shower. So the bullet entered the shower through the solid wall of the shower and left through the glass wall. The DI got pretty angry that the woman just shot at him and went and killed her by choking her. After realizing his crime, the DI then moved the body into the other room, stole the ring and ran away to start a new life in Cuba.

The weight of the body and water causes the floor to collapse below the shower. Only part of the shower was torn apart, leaving the 2nd pane of glass intact. The crash through the floor caused an impact that landed on the woman killing her, while shattering the pane of glass. The DI crashed into the glass during this process, which paired with the fall woke him up, and had to pry himself loose from it before escaping the scene.
