Sorry guys, my power died last night, and then when my reply came back, I was "Not authorized" to post because the new topic had began :/

What I would have said, however, is:

InC: "Oh don't mind him, you might call me... an Illusionist. It can't harm you, but the surprise aspect it grants is very useful in a fight," Havelock dissipates his clone, and then continues talking. "You do look the type to use poison though. So who else have you got up there? And who was the man?"

OOC: By the way Gli1tch, if control over my clone isn't coming in the next level (Or two, depending on how fast I level, but seemingly it's pretty slow) I think I'd rather switch to Dive. If that's acceptable of course.

Well, you have stumbled onto one of my main problems.

Leveling is slow and in extreme increments.  Instead of a nice curve it's more of a stairstep.

Also:  Control of your copy is given, as to make your character balance.

Thrice looks over at the dead body, then again, shrugs, "Honestly, I've no clue. I've never seen him before. Maybe it was one of the others? I'm resting down here for the night, but you'll likely find them up that ladder, or at the inn. Tell them Thrice sent you."

Leveling is slow and in extreme increments.  Instead of a nice curve it's more of a stairstep.

Also:  Control of your copy is given, as to make your character balance.

Thanks. I think that RP experience addition would be a good idea though, or perhaps just faster finding and random encounters with enemies.

Okay:  Official new leveling system

Every 200 experience points you earn an UPGRADE POINT, which will upgrade an ability or spell you already have.
Every level you get to learn a new ability with ABILITY POINTS.

We'll do leveling stuff tomorrow, but that should make things faster.

OOC So I have... 4 upgrade points to spend, and my ability points are going up, and I gained a new ability? Can you save upgrade points and use them later?
