You'd just somehow have to "kill" their life powers. Now where would those come from?
You're going to kill Zanthos, the Master of Life? That still won't do, you know. At the end of the Iron Age, after the final battle with the Void, every single Master save for Sekhor died and reincarnated, including pre-Zanthos. The elements did not cease to exist when the Masters died.
Even if you somehow destroy Zanthos's soul permanently, you still can't destroy Life. The Masters were all "appointed", by tying the soul of a creature with an elemental spirit; Bloodshadow was linked with the Spirit of Darkness or something. If you destroy Zanthos's soul, the Spirit of Life would still exist.
Anyways, destroy Life temporarily if you want. Seeing as you are the Master of Life in the forums, I doubt that you'll want to destroy Life permanently.
Although... If you destroy Life, wouldn't every single living creature die instantly? Only the Higher Beings, undead creatures, and Masters can survive without Life.
@Purity: Sudden idea! For the sequel, you
are going to have those "ancient elemental spirits", right? We can call them "Avatars". "The Avatar of Darkness", that sounds about right.
And... Master of Darkness + Avatar of Darkness = God of Darkness? Since the antagonist of the sequel is Zanz's brother, we probably
will need to become "gods" to defeat him.
