Incidentally, upon further consideration, I am inclined to concur with Blood's calculations; ultimately, we cannot lose, because Vaderael and One hundred and fifty Guardians of the Peace are on their way as we speak anyway.

Even if you could delay us, they most certainly will finish the job anyway.


"Additional hostiles are incoming, sir," reported an Angel, "Multiple viruses, by their appearance."

"I should have factored their usage into account, but they are only a very small variable in our equation. Most of the Netherlords are fallen, freeing us to create a Field of Light to repel these viruses. Of course, we could probably not care less about their presence, but I do not want them causing harm to our Middle Plane allies behind us."

And upon his word, light suddenly illuminated a great radius around them, and the first viruses whom touched it disintegrated upon contact with the holy.

Gl1tch. You have not read the entire RPG, so you obviously underestimate the power of Higher Beings. You think some pathetic neurotoxin can affect immortal Angels?! They don't even have physical, material bodies that CAN be affected!

Whether you like it or not, we have 100% chance to win this fight. I suggest you stop trying to make this more difficult, as it will only lead to more bickering and time-wasting.

Oh come on, everyone has a kryptonite, I mean seriously.

So I guess these are my plans to make one of the most pivotal battles of the RPG not one-sided.

1.  The Tor angel will spread lies and deceit amongst the ranks of the angels, perhaps flipping back to our elf buddy and changing a guardian angle into a lava golem if the time requires it.
2.  While I'm certain you role played darkness and light becoming best friends, I imagine they still don't trust each other.  E.G, if angels struck by neurotoxin start attacking vampires, and vampires struck by neurotoxin retaliate, you're looking at a civil war while the vultures laugh and grow.
3.  When the armies are finally defeated, Morte will expose a secret swarm of aflatoxin that's been swarming beneath the ground.  A single virus will kill them all, and the great false god Morte will grow to unbelievable proportions.  "How will you defeat me when I could swallow you whole?!"

At least that way OMGWTFBBQDRAGON might have a challenge this time.

Then why not just write "we win yay!!!!!".  It cuts down on time and is JUST as predicable as what's going on now.  (seriously, angels get to be immaterial with their own secret base and the elves get to be slaughtered before I even joined.  And you thought I was overpowered.  Grumble grumble)

Gl1tch, this is not a pivotal battle in the RPG. As far as Heaven is concerned, Catyrael and a few Swords of Justice are completing a mandate and performing a simple arrest.

The pivotal battles (excluding the final war against Malcolm) will occur in the Obyrith segment when the monstrous Demons will devastate the Middle Plane and some of Hell and lay siege to Heaven (according to the general concept of what I envision).

A)  Why does heaven get to be so powerful?  You know what, I'll just let you win that one, who cares.
B)  All battles CAN be pivotal if you put an ounce of effort into balancing them.  There has to be SOME adversary who can jump up and surprise you, making it difficult and neigh impossible to win.  What's the fun in surmounting something if it's not insurmountable?

This battle is writing and roleplaying like crapping is creating something meaningful.  In the end all you have is the pile of pewp everyone expected.

It would not hurt to make the enemy stronger, heck I'll even let you guys do it.  Maybe air makes a surprise visit and is all "we like death" and you are all "wha?!?!???!?!??!"  I don't care.  I just think it'd be more enjoyable for everyone if we weren't just sitting back and watching you and helios godmode.

Morte has 12 Netherlords, which are the Death equivalents of ARCHANGELS. That's powerful enough in my opinion.

There would be no harm done if you gave the enemy even an ounce of strength, like I dunno, one hundred and fifty bringers of destruction, but whatever.  It would seem you've already got the entire RPG written, and your metagaming to make sure no possible deviation ever occurs.

I guess I'll just sit back and watch everyone else tell me what to do.

They can't. We can beat them, but it won't be easy. Everyone on our side will end up badly battered and bruised.

As for the 100% win rate, it is only so because we don't plan on losing the fight. No matter what ridiculously powerful enemies you throw at us, we will win this fight. This is always one-sided because ultimately we, the players, decide the outcome.
