Oooookay then. That makes this easier.
"Wait!" screamed Yüruk to the rapidly leaving Tor. "Where are you going?"
"Ttttttoooooo" he said with his slow booming voice, "wwwwwwwaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrr"
"War?" asked Yüruk, "why?"
"Long ago, a great race of vampires lived and thrived. Now, so the great Morte finds the vampires turn on each other, one claiming the other has no right to live. And now, they fight. One for it's survival, the other, out of spite."
"But I met a vampire lady once. She was nice."
"Then it is sad she must die."
"Wait..." said Yüruk, suddenly afraid, "why did your voice change? And where is Darloff?"
"You see, my boy," said Tor, his smile widening to impossible dimensions and his body looming over him. "You were awake because your energy kept you so. You foolishly allowed me to take you away from that energy."
"So... I'm no longer awake?" asked Yüruk.
"No," said Tor, "you are no longer alive."
Far away, a battle was looming. An army of death stood waiting for their time to strike. And into that army of death walked a paradoxical thing, the last remaining elf. None of the death soldiers fell asleep, because they had no death to dream of. And Tor walked right up to his commander, feeling the power surging through his newly captured consciousness. The power to change anything he wanted into anything else. The power of metamorphasis tingled in his fingertips.
"Orders, sir?" he said.
BADABAM! Plot arc fixed.
The plan:
Yüruk goes all "I'm a bad guy now please save me", but no one does, because well, why would they. And when the battle is waged, Yüruk survives, because even if Bloodshadow attacked him in true OMGWTFBBQ form, he could just turn blood into a spark or something. (more on how that works later. I'm still working out all the balancing kinks. Everyone has a power level which cannot be changed. Vageta will give more details). Point is Tor lives to see his master, Morte, killed. But when he sees the void released, it joins with Malcolm. E.G, Tor serves Malcolm. Cue, Yüruk screwing things up. The two of them arrive in the forest JUST in time for Malcolm to destroy the energies of the great tree, immediately after those very same energies wake Yüruk up. And of course, he screwed everything up like everyone always said he would.
Gah, this is so much more complicated than my original plan of just walking up to the party, introducing myself to Xanriel, and moving on.
