OOC: I'm completely against the idea of the twin brother, and his controlling all twelve of the elements. Mostly because we don't have a player to control him, and I don't think an NPC should have that much power, other than Zanzarino himself.

InC:

Xanriel listened intently, he had missed much in the kingdom of heaven. He sighed to hear how all the world had faltered so much at his pseudo-death. Determined to make things right, he made a silent pledge to himself to visit the heavens and speak before the council. It was a terrible travesty that had been committed, and he felt the need to make it up to them.

"I will have to take you up on that, and meet you in heaven after the war. Perhaps we could bring Sirenes along, I'm sure the council would be interested in meeting her."

Most of you have noticed that I'm being veeery inactive. If you did, you were right, and if you didn't... You need to be less oblivious :P

So, Blood's desription is possibly fine (It'd be easier to tell if I had time to read it ^-^), and I believe there's some heat going on right now, but I've got to read most of 11-14 before I pass judgement.

Yeah. That's pretty much it.

(Also, I should be caught up in a few days, provided there's a bit of material in there that I can skip.)

I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

OOC:

My problems with the profile are:

I still don't think the people themselves should change, mostly since that include Sirenes, and really if she doesn't want her character to physically change, then they really shouldn't change.

I also think that the brother should be removed from his backstory.

Well, that twin brother thing is a brain glitch anyways, so if you want to remove it then fine.

But are we actually going to have Sirenes kidnapped? I do not like the notion of a main character getting kidnapped and turned evil. From what I understand, Malcolm isn't going to capture all 12 Nymphs, because Nyxia will be rescued before Malcolm has a chance to initiate that ritual. What I had in mind was that Malcolm will eventually grow powerful enough to devour other False Gods, thus becoming the False Overgod and reviving the Void in a different way.

Again, I want the Void to be able to corrupt but you don't, so we'll need the opinions of others.

and it doesn't matter what you 'like the idea of' if Sirenes wants her character captured, then that's what'll happen.

[OOC] I do intend to have Sirenes kidnapped and I don't want her transformed into anything until she starts to come into her Master powers (if at all. There's so much of it that I'm being turned off by the idea). I intend for her turning evil for a short time to be a large step in that. She will have a kind of change, but nothing major. I won't say unless its necessary. I hate revealing my ideas early. I for sure don't like having a character (whether NPC or not) of Zanzarino. No one really knows how an already made character would act except the person that created them. Plus, that's just too much power and power corrupts. (Yes, I mean us lol)

Sirenes listens quietly as Catyrael updates Xanriel on the recent history of heaven. Gently, she rubbed his arm to comfort him when he sighed. "I thought only angels were allowed into heaven. Are you sure I could go?"

Xanriel smiled at her timidness

"Yes, that's generally true, unless and angel brings you to our Realm, but don't forget little one, you yourself are an angel," with a wink, he added "besides, I'd be surprised to see someone tell the son of Miracle, Master of Light, that he can't bring his ward into the heavenly kingdom."

He hugged her close, pecking her cheek, then continued on through the marsh.

"Did Jonathan say where we were to meet up? This place is only barely better than the realm of Darkness."

You need to relax. Right now, all I have in mind is their eyes turning gray, symbolizing their loss of free will; there is nothing else visible on the outside. At least I want Nyxia to change a bit when she's brainwashed to have an alternate personality.

But for Sirenes, she doesn't have to change if you don't want her to. Maybe Malcolm is able to turn her evil, but not change her inner composition, because she is the Master of Water.

[OOC] I am relaxed. I was just giving my opinion on the conversation.

"I know, I just have a hard time believing it." She chuckles, sneaking in a quick peck on his lips when he kisses her cheek. "I don't recall. Do you think we should look for him and the others? Or should we just keep going to Necropolis?"

"I'm sure we'll find him soon enough. Let's just keep heading for the Necropolis, unless of course the Sword has a different objective for us." Xanriel slid his hand around the fingers of Sirenes's hand and looked to Catyrael.

"So, Catyrael, how can we help with the councils most recent mandate?"

Due to the impracticalities of effecting a ceasefire, it was agreed between the Angels of the Sword that forcing the submission and surrender of the aggressing party was the next-to-ideal scenario.

"Continue onwards towards the Necropolis for the moment, Xanriel. If anything, I intend to have a few strong words with Morte; not since the end of the Last Golden Age has anyone, be him False God or not, so blatantly dared a violation of peace and Heaven's will," said Catyrael, with a hint of outrage resonating in his voice.

Finally, another light appeared upon the horizon, steadily growing brighter and brighter until even mortal eyes could recognise the shapes of more angels, though the Archangel had perceived them from a great distance.

"Your presence is much appreciated, Dominrael, Moriael, but you are too late," laughed Falindael.

"Oh dear; we missed it? We travelled here as fast as we could!" said Dominrael.

"This is only the beginning, friends. Our objective is the Necropolis, where we fully intend to set Morte in his actual place, and demonstrate that his behaviour will not be tolerated. Hopefully it will render him more hesitant to defy us again; after all, I scarcely wish to return here too often for that kind of troublesome nuisance," said Catyrael.

***
In the meantime, another discussion was taking place before the Crystal Arch of High Heaven.

"The evidence is unequivocally and unambiguously clear; though you suggest that he has returned to the Light, it scarcely absolves him of all the horrendous crimes he has committed. He must be arrested and brought before proper trial and justice in Heaven," said Argerael, Archangel of Fate.

"However, he was clearly not in possession of his proper self and state of being when he committed those heinous deeds," objected Lumaeliel, Archangel of Mercy.

"Lumaeliel, if the plea to madness actually sufficed as a defence, then all the Fallen Angels, for one, could easily justify all manner of atrocities. It bears no value or meaning in the Law."

Quelling the dispute with his speech, Soliraelis spoke upon this rare occasion:

"Unfortunately, I believe Argerael's position to be right where Law is concerned. Xanriel has clearly transgressed and in full accordance with Law, must be taken and judged by Heaven, where his final fate shall be determined."

"Then I shall hope that his return to the Light has sufficiently redeemed him," concluded Lumaeliel sadly.

OOC: I believe that establishing a timeline for the Ages of Heaven's history would be advisable presently. Though I have left enough hints to the careful reader for him/her to deduce using what I have implied when the Ages I have mentioned occurred, and of their respective important events, here is an explicit chronological order:

1) The Elder Days (Began with the beginning of Time itself; not much recorded history; by the present, knowledge of which almost completely lost to the Middle Plane; predates even incumbent Council members; cataclysmic conflict against the Obyrinthic uberdemons during which the latter were sealed away)

2) The First Golden Age (The height and noontide of Heaven's power; signing of Treaty of Utarius; construction of the Crystal Arch by the legendary Solraegiel; Heaven's strong presence established throughout the Middle Plane)

3) The Iron Age (Multiple and numerous conflicts begin on the Middle Plane; ends when Heaven succeeds in restoring peace and harmonious order again)

4) The Second Golden Age (Second Age of splendour and prosperity for the Upper Realm)

5) The Dark Age (At the Second Golden Age's end, Xanriel was defeated and presumed dead; Heaven adopts a decadent, isolationist attitude and withdraws from all of the Middle Plane except for the Protectorate of Heaven (former name for the Kingdom of Light), which remains under their direct influence and authority; from this point onwards, Heaven will never assume as glorious and as powerful a form as it once possessed)

6) The Last Golden Age (Heaven is no longer omnipresent on the Middle Plane, but continues to influence the entirety of continental affairs via the Protectorate of Heaven and manages to enforce another period of peace; the era of the exploits of Lucius)

7) The Age of Independence (The present; Heaven is becoming a shadow of its former glorious self; except for Catyrael's occasional mandates, very little is accomplished by them on the Middle Plane now)
