Xanriel was soon out of sight, having flown far off into the distance. The group members remaining on the ground were only too glad to continue on without him, walking on toward their distination of Necroplis. Though she wanted to wait for him to return, Sirenes was unsure when exactly that would be and standing alone in the mists of the Death Lands didn't seem like a very good idea. Relectantly, she follows the rest of the party, keeping to the center of the group. After all, if something were to attack them it would be from either the front or the rear. It was the safest place to be.
The farther they got from him and the longer it took for him to return, the more she began to worry and feel uncomfortable, but she knew that he could in some way sense her emotions. Things were just fine and she didn't want to worry him over trivial things, so in an attempt to calm herself she began to hum an upbeat tune she had learned in her travels. As the song broke into the chorus, she started to sing the words aloud, but softly. The people around her began to glance her way, giving her odd looks, but she ignored them. If the didn't like her song they would just have to deal with it. After all, the plan was working and she was feeling cheerful again, giving them a smile when they looked. In fact, the grabbed the hands of a soldier nearby and tried to make him dance. The man sneered and pulled his hands away, glancing around nervously and adjusting his clothes. Sirenes just laughed and shrugged. I bet if mAx was here, he would dance with me.
