PvP Event Ideas.

I'm realizing that there is a board to post our PvP event ideas, but that it is barely even looked at at all. I believe there should be someone reviewing events, telling what is wrong, a bit like card curators look at card ideas and tell you some stuff are missing. While i believe it is the job of the PvPOs, they can have a lot of job on their hands sometimes. We could make a new position for it, but i feel like it's not enough of a job to make a position out of it.

It's just what you said - it is so obviously linked to the PvPOs tasks (and interests, one would think) that it is sad to see how this section is ignored.

I think it'd be a great job to have - it would definitely bring light to things unseen there

Ideally, the addition of a second PvPO should help remedy this.

IMO this doesn't warrant a separate staff position if there are enough PvPOs (which 2 may be enough/may be too little).

So time will tell what changes in the section and whether another PvPO needs to be added or a new staff position needs to be created or some other change.

Back when i was PvPO, the plan was to run 3 events at a time. 2 old ideas that were coming back, and 1 new idea, to bring fresh stuff. How is that happening with pvpo's never looking at new ideas?

I've been looking.  Colosseum, Budo, WC, Lost temple, and trials are all running atm though.

And WC isnt really running, we're waiting on one fight for finals,
And trials is not an event and should be treated seperatly, there will always be trials or war or brawl behind.

Lost temple is currently in the ending phases as well.  Doesn't mean that it shouldn't be counted.  Besides, I personally feel like 3 events at a time is too much.  Two is proficient for me.  If the community disagrees and wants more, we can deal with it.   I can make a poll or just ask around in chat if you wish.

Ideally the starting times of events should be shifted from each other such, that we don't have multiple events starting and finishing at the same time, because most events will have only a few remaining active participant near the end. So if you have only 2 events active and both based on fall-out of losers, then most of the community is waiting inactive for another event to start while the reaming few fights out the end bit of the events.

E.g. fighting in Booster draft & Gladiator will both start early next week, so busy time for a short while for several members who signed up for both, but then after a while both will get reduced population from eliminated players and most members will have no event to participate in.
