Hey i been thinking it's about time the forums theme (Background with the mark icons) changed since we had this one for a very long time. The new theme will have to be elements related plus why not create a event where everyone create themes. A poll will then be created which the winner theme gets choosen, i think it's a good idea maybe have this event every 6 months?

very nice thought. i agree that while some things make this forum what it is, others need changing to make the scene more dynamic and exciting. go for it.

I like the current theme. I don't really see the need for others.

I certainly wouldn't want the default theme changed.

When I log on to Elements in class, sometimes the images really kill the loading. I'd like to see an even "lighter" version if it's possible ^.^

maybe eventually, not now of course, but eventually you could customize your own background theme like your desktop on a normal computer.

At first i was going down this path as my first suggestion but then i tought it would take alot of time to create a feature for members to customize their themes and what not.

I would like to have it changed... although before I put reasoning behind my opinion I would like to see alternatives

The plan is that when I install the next version of this forum software, I will include two themes:

1. Dark theme (default and pretty much what you see now)
2. Light theme ("reverse" of the current one with light background and dark text)

It might also be a good idea to include a theme for mobile devices.

As for letting everyone create themes.. I think that it might be technically difficult because it involves more than just changing an image or two.

mobile theme would be wonderful. I just got an internet enabled phone (yeah I know, im behind the times) and I can view topics, but I cant login

I think there both two great ideas just can't wait till SG installs the next version of the forum software.

What about a theme for each element ?

Like  themes. Fans of each element would love that.
