It is relying to Cremate Phoenix instead of Ball Lightnings and thus is slightly less explosive during the initial 2 turns, but frequently outdamages its counterpart during the following turns by having less "bad" topdecks like Cremate/Ball Lightning.

It was designed to grind AI3 and thus it has no way to get rid of Phase Shields etc. but it is still my deck of choice when it comes down to top50-grinding.

Hopefully you aren´t sick of playing fire-rush variants yet  and give it a shot.
Call me crazy, but I highly doubt this deck will win faster than V2 fire rush.

Can´t speak for a real player piloting the deck but i ran into that v2 version in the top50 quite a lot and have yet to lose the "mirror" against the AI. That doesn´t say much i know.

I´m not saying that it is faster, in fact i know that it is about a quarter turn slower on the average, but it is more consistent in the long run.

The damageoutput is constantly increasing while the v2 version is drawing "dead" cards.
V2 early turns (1-2) usually provide a higher damageoutput , but after that my version keeps increasing the pressure while the v2 is just "hanging in there" and looses its momentum.

As soon as you face some lifegain you will notice the difference.

wait so can we get from this thread that in T50, unlike AI3, EM's arent effective?
or is there simply an EM build we have yet to find
i only tested one EM deck so far, plus i only played 100 games with it....  so its really too early to draw any conclusions about whether EM decks are more or less effective.

it does make sense that EM decks have a bit of a harder time in T50, because when you make your rush slower, you can get tangled up by more rainbow control decks.  In AI3, when you add some healing, it doesn't lower you win percentage.  But who knows... i'll try to test a few more EM decks in the future.

Seventh Matchup: (Frac your birds)

For this matchup, there is the reigning champion:

Mono-Earth Shrieker Rush
The classic shrieker rush deck!  Fast and simple.

Code: [Select]
6rk 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77h 77h 77h 77h 77h 77h
Then there is the challenger:

 Sdgc's Cremix
This deck was put up for testing by Sdgc.  Its a fractal phoenix deck with rage potions for creature control and explosions for permanent control.

Code: [Select]
7dg 7dg 7dg 7dm 7dm 7dm 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dq 7dq 7dr 7dr 7dr 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7f2 7f2 7f2 7f2 7f2 7f2 80i 80i 80i

Results:

I played 100 games for each side, 200 total.

Stats!:

 Mono-Earth Shrieker Rush:
Win/Loss= 83/17, 83%, with a TTW of 6.337
33 Elemental Masteries - 22 from farm decks
Points gained: 2386
Electrum gained: 3247

 Sdgc's Cremix:
Win/Loss= 76/24, 76%, with a TTW of 8.000
25 Elemental Masteries - 22 from farm decks
Points gained: 1932
Electrum gained: 2668

This is the first time I counted how many farm decks were seen by each of the decks, and this time they came out totally even at 22 each.  22% farm decks seems pretty high to me.

Shrieker deck won at a good rate of 83%.  It wasn't a crazy 92% like in the last matchup since this time there were a lot more life rush decks floating around.  Rush decks always cause a couple losses, its just the way it goes.

Sdgc's Cremix deck did alright for itself.  A win rate of 76% is pretty good.  I haven't played terribly many fractal phoenix decks, but so far this one is the winner out the ones I have played.  The deck could possibly run better if the lava destroyers were replaced with more cremate cards.  You don't get much earth quanta since the mark for the deck is aether, so therefore you can't buff the lava destros.  Also they are immediately targets of CC, so mostly they just go to waste.  Also 3 rage potions is a bit too much and they tend to clog up your hand.

I will never be a true fan of fractal phoenix decks, they are not my style, but all-in-all this one did alright.

In a heads up comparison, Shrieker still wins in every category.  It has a better win rate, it wins faster, it gains more points, it gains more electrum, and gets more elemental masteries.  Therefore the winner, as usual, is the Shrieker Rush.

Winner is Mono-Earth Shrieker Rush!

Hey! Thanks for the statistics sickpillow, I'm pretty happy with the results. 76% it's über fine!
I really appreciate the testing you've done and the advice on how to improve. I'm gonna try some variations to make it more efficient.

Seriusly, thanks.

It looks like its going to take a consistant rush deck to take out the shrieker rush, which itself is also a consistant rush deck.

Very few decks fit that description, but I may just know one.

Try Da Fastest Speedbow Eva! (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11757.0.html).  Its the next fastest deck after the shrieker rsuh, but its a bit more consistant overall.  If that doesn't work I may be out of ideas, lol.

Eighth Matchup: (more  :fire fire :fire)

For this matchup, there is the reigning champion:

Mono-Earth Shrieker Rush
The classic shrieker rush deck!  Fast and simple.

Code: [Select]
6rk 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 778 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77h 77h 77h 77h 77h 77h
Then there is the challenger:

 Sal's Fire Rush
This deck was put up for testing by Sal.  Its a cremation based fire rush.  The deck has no balls of lighting or ROLs, instead it uses minor phoenixes as the cremation fodder.

Code: [Select]
5f2 5f2 6rk 6rk 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds

Results:

I played 100 games for each side, 200 total.

Stats!:
 Mono-Earth Shrieker Rush:
Win/Loss= 86/14, 86%, with a TTW of 6.128
23 Elemental Masteries - 8 from farm decks
Points gained: 2328
Electrum gained: 3038
 Sal's Fire Rush:
Win/Loss= 80/20, 80%, with a TTW of 6.200
20 Elemental Masteries - 14 from farm decks
Points gained: 1992
Electrum gained: 2647

It was a bad day for farm decks.   Sal's Fire Rush went up against 6 more farm decks than Shrieker Rush, so it gained an advantage there.

Shrieker deck won at a very high rate of 86%.  Since the weekly T50 had been wiped not long ago, there were not many farm decks out there.  But the decks were all pretty easy, and the matches were fast.

Sal's Fire Rush also did well and won 80% of the time.  Its a fire rush, so I did expect a good amount of wins.  Sometimes the deck was  a bit slow to get going, missing either quanta or a cremate.  This caused a couple problems with rainbow decks, where shields came out, and the deck lost slowly and painfully.  The deck lost 8 times to rainbow control decks.  A fire rush deck needs to be super speedy since the creatures are very vulnerable to CC.  This fire rush is fast, but not as fast as other fire rushes that I've seen.  The faster the fire rush, the better it will do Vs control decks.  High damage no longer helps once the permafrost shields and otyughs start popping out.

Overall Shrieker deck still won in all categories.

Winner is Mono-Earth Shrieker Rush!

Uh that was pretty close. Thanks for your test run (karma).
Remember that it was designed to grind AI3 and not top50 and i´m very happy with the result.

For sure, there is nothing wrong with an 80% win rate...  totally fine deck to play T50 with.    :D

I played 30 games for each side, 60 total.  I quit early since the deck "Fractal Pheonix Lite" was not performing, and would surely lose.  The deck felt very underpowered and I just didn't have it in me to keep grinding out losses.  The deck suffers from severe low quanta, which makes farenheit all but useless.  I hope Boingo doesn't take this badly... but I really think his deck needs to be changed if it is to be listed under the "T50 deck list".

Fractal Phoenix Lite:
Win/Loss= 11/19, 36.6%, with a TTW of 9.636
This thread is great.  And I don't take it badly.  :P

The Fahrenheit is there just for looks.  Like you said, it never lives up to its potential because you rarely build enough quanta to make it worthwhile.  I'm surprised it did as poorly as it did for you, but the numbers are what they are.  I should probably revisit this deck now that pendulums are available...
Bring back Holy Cow!

well i should have really played the 100 games.... I think i was like all excited to gather the data for my first matchup, and then i was like "oMGzorz i'm losing a lot!" and so i quit early.   ::)

i think i'll probably come back and try it again for 100 games.  or i can try your revised one.  that would be great.
