Credit to stereohelix for coming up with the "Battle" mechanic
NOTES:
"Today is a day to go with the ebb and flow of things"
"A water skier in a leather jacket is going to jump the shark today … Make sure the shark eats him this time."
For info on the "Battle" mechanic, see the
Creature-to-Creature Combat Design and Balance
by stereohelix on the Card Design board.
The bonus stats are applied before the battle, (i.e. the unupgraded version could battle a colossal dragon and live with 1 hp left)
For the "Aquatic" trait: Essentially, when this card is played, the owner is asked to pick a flooded slot for the creature to enter. If flooding ends, this creature will die on its next attack (much like a non-water creature would die due to the presence of flooding, but reversed).
If this creature gets copied or gains mitosis, whatever open flooded slot would be highest on the priority que gets used. If none are present, the poor shark ends up on dry land and gets to die on its next attack.

Not sure why the ability is gravity, but I do like it a lot, it is balanced by the fact that it requires flooding as well as a duo, for pretty much instant. CC. Again, like this card a lot. Shouldn't it be a "fantasy" shark though?

Upgraded really doesn't need a cost increase.
And the ability should not be gravity. That makes no sense.

like this very much. Aquatic is a very strong drawback, but the active skill somehow balances it. I even think it could cost
though. It's funny how the active skill perfectly fits the background of the card and at the same time is a great way to balance this 'Battle' skill (Which just doesn't work without a rather grave condition like this).

Yeah, make it cost
. And buff it slightly so that it doesn't have to be an injured target (that's just too many requirements... nobody would use this)

Oh wait, I think I missed "injured" at first. I don't think it is necessary. Fits better thematically, but because of the duo + flooding + creature under 8 defense, I think it is balanced being able to attack any creature.

I'd rather have its stats buffed and/or cost reduced than the active ability changed.
Once again, 'Battle' without drawback is OP. An OP ability with an otherwise UP creature doesn't make a good card.

So now we're going to have to pack flooding, at least 5 other creatures,
and
dry spell? Are you kidding me? Three card combo just so it can kill anything at all? ... *leaves to go use otyughs and heavy armor instead*

You don't need other creatures.

So how were you expecting to get the shark in the flooded area?
