Anyone else feeling like this card f**ks up the already UP aflatoxin or is it just me?

I cannot understand why.
You cannot force opponent to play a Cell and then poison it.

This.  The only thing it does is make the tactic of using Aflatoxin on your own creatures nonexistent...which wasn't exactly a useful strategy to begin with.

Love this card.  Makes it easy to spam the field, making it work well with Feral Bond.  Somewhat removes 's weakness to Plague as well.  Not really concerned about the cost being Other as it's not exactly a card you'd want to splash in every deck that you can think of and it has a number of rather problematic weaknesses anyways.

Saw it in this thread "Project: IF Boutique" and felt the need to comment on it.

When you say that the cell will turn into a malignant cell if poisoned, it should be brought up that if malignant cells are poisoned, they die before they generate a daughter creature with the infest ability. Does it turn into malignant cell after it dies? I may be missing something

That's a good point. However, note that a poisoned Malignant Cell still activates its ability before it dies.

Alternatively, the poison status could be removed when it is transformed.

It's not exactly that clear as indicated by the description for the Poisonous passive:  Cause poisoning if ingested.

Indeed, there is some ambiguity on the terminology for poison on creatures. While infection is generally used, the game's source itself refers to it as poison. So I'd say either is fine.

Have you tested that recently? because I am about 90% sure it doesn't make another malignant cell. The poison status could be removed though

"Daughter Cell" seems to imply that it will create exact copies of itself, and that would be slightly OP if it did.

But the skill name is "Mitosis" which generates the original creature.

So, does it just generate exact copies or original copies?

Mitosis itself uses the wording 'daughter cell'. So original copies.

I like this straight forward cardidea. It will have it purposes and is not overpowered in my opinion and a nice way to create malignant cell(s).
However the upped version shouldn't be colorless. That's not only weird, it's a mechanic  i wouldn't enable to every color deck. It should be bound to .
PS: Aflatoxin will be underpowered with or without "Cell" in this game.
