Rule 76: No excuses.  Play like a champion.

They say employers tend to seek out applicants similar to themselves.  You're here in part because you've proven through previous posts, matches, PMs, and time in chat that you hold the above rule in the highest regard.  One major goal in drafting this team was to find a group of solid people that will make (winning) the event fun for all of us.  Not all Masters put value on quality of character.  On that note, please take care not to blame luck, bad draws, or point out opponent blunders.  If you need to vent, find me in chat.    What you say reflects on us as a team.

Lastly, I’ve gotten to know you by reading all of your (and many applicants) post history.  But I know that many of you haven’t even heard of one another and this is as good a spot as any to introduce yourself to the team if you want.  We can also use this thread for generic conversation throughout the War.

Heya, I'm catalyzeme. This actually my first PVP event, so I'm not much more experienced than a rookie in this sort of thing, although I do have plenty of AI and random PVP experience, for whatever that's worth. My quest for T50 is on hold for the war, and I'm excited to contribute.

What do you guys think of Underworld? I did some quick calculations last night and I think the average team will be under 300 cards by the time they join after the 4th round. They'll be way behind the leader(s), most likely, but they'll have coherent decks and could be tough to deal with. Maybe a few black holes should be included in the vault?

I'm really excited to be on a team so serious about winning the war, not just merely having a good showing. Hopefully we can start strong and grow our vault a little bit in the beginning rounds. Having a full complement of complete decks is obviously going to be important for flexibility once the rounds start having serious penalties for losing.
