kevkev should pack rage pots, they will kill the main 3 cards gravity will use, Otyugh, Chargers, Graviton guards and possibly firemasters.

So far, thats all I can come up for since I have to go right now, more will be added later, suggestions will be appreciated.

So some notes on how I expect deck selection to work throughout the War:
Acs creates the thread for that round.Acs or someone else posts the matchups from the matchups thread.Team members post deck suggestions for whichever matchups they want after research that might include:
Lava golem's strategy thread every roundThe War #2 Element for element (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,14105.0.html) threadThe All War 1 Decks  (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13647.0.html) threadThe War #1 Archive (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,175.0.html)War 2 Battle Results (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,245.0.html)Your deck impressions from AI3 testing, if applicableYour deck impressions from PVP duel testing, if applicable
Based on teammate recommendations and my recommendations, you choose a deck.  Obviously not everyone can use Vreely's deck as we only have the cards to make one, so there will have to be some give and take.Test the deck against AI3 and PVP Duel a team member if possible.  If you are uncomfortable with your deck choice tweak it, exchange it, and above all post here for discussion.Acs will change the first post of this thread to the deck choices for the team before the deadline (or else we get penalized).
So this is important:  YOU are ultimately responsible for your deck choice.  If poisonbolt doesn't fit your playstyle after you test it, or your gut says your opponent will expect it and pack purifies, YOU have to make the call.  I will not be assigning decks to everyone.

I’ll get us started.

:fire kevkev60614 vs. :gravity GirlsGeneration
I’ll probably go with dialbolt.  Good chance GG goes fractal charger cuz it’s solid all around.  (trivia: who was the first person to post fractal charger?).  Her best guess at my deck will be fractix, and if she’s right her chargers get around my dimshields, plus she might hope to put up more dimshields than I have deflags.  She has said in chat quite a bit that chargers are the best offensive gravity tool.  Dialbolt also ignores otys, grav pull and armaggio.

:fire jmdt vs. :earth Timerclock14
A LOT of research can be done here.  Earth could use stone dragons to avoid ragepots, Miracle/PA’d Titanium to deckout, EQ/SS to stay out of firebolt reach, or Terro might decide to give his rookie an easy to play grabby rush.  Immophoenix is a good all around option, as you can immo phoenixes that have been BB’d or whatever.  Interested in what your research reveals.

:fire Hyroen vs. :life hrmmm
Entropy duo is not a bad option.  Gotta love fireshields and AM against life.  Actually a lot of decks might be ok.  I’d stay away from options that take awhile to set up, like bolt decks and Dragon Powa.  Ragepots are better than freeze and BB when dealing with adrenaline.

:fire majofa vs. :air Tomatoman
Quinted fire spirits is megastrong.  With it you’re immune to CC, and fire spirits are airborne.

:fire Lava golem vs. :darkness Kuroaitou
If Kael and Kuro predict you’ll immo rush, they’d be wise to use LS.  It slaughters phoenix and to a lesser extent golems.  If they do have LS as I already discussed taking Dragons, -2 phoenix, -2 pillar, +4 holy light, would be awesome.  If Kuro goes the devourer route, immo is a big winner.  Good luck deciding. ;)

:fire Acsabi44 vs. :aether Boingo and :fire catalyzeme vs. :aether Dragoon1140
Potential Team Aether decks can be broken into three categories: dimshields, fractals, and other.  Vreely’s is a good option cuz it can outrush anything fractal and has four deflags for dimshields.  My gut says Dragoon1140 will look at War1 fire/aether matchups to predict our decks.  We used creature-heavy decks (here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,8229.0.html) and here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,8272.0.html), so it might be wise to take bolt decks instead.  If we do run with creatures, dimshields and lobos are both dangerous to most of our creatures, so we can tweak out CC and tweak in deflags as desired.

:fire stinnger vs. :water RavingRabbid and :fire brettbstock vs. :water TheDictator
First off Round 1 is now 4+4 days long, so brett should make it back in time to play but we’ll have to choose his deck without him so I’ll need extra thought into feedback.  I like Sudden Killer for brett.  It has only one Fahrenheit, which he has.  I’d guess they’re slightly less likely to take PC because they know he doesn’t have very many rares and they’ll guess I’ll give him an easy-to-play rush deck.  Dimshield timing takes some time to get used to, though.  When you see this, brett, please find some time to practice against AI3 or one of us if possible.  Then crush them. :)

For stinnger, jmdt’s first thought was poisonbolt.  It’d certainly be unexpected for us to use poison against water, so maybe it’s worth a shot.  If you do use poisonbolt, I recommend replacing RoFs with ragepots.  Rav loves toadfish.  Nova/Grabby might be ok as well, as it is relatively fast and has six ragepots.

Please respond with deck thoughts for yourself and your teammates.

At this stage we cannot afford to find ourselves with our feet off the ground.

kevkev60614, your suggestions are solid, and it may be a wise idea for those with recommended decks to take up arms with their deck and ask if someone else on Team Fire can PVP Duel them using all War 1 decks of the element that they are facing.

For example, I set up several PVP Duels versus catalyzeme, so that I use the :fire :entropy Duo Deck against the decks that :life Life used last war and though there are some new cards and possibly some new strategies, this may be a good place to start regardless.

kevkev60614 has kindly grouped decks used lastly in War 1 HERE (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13647.0.html), now I think is a good a time as any to face them.

Get crackin'.

Gotta run to a meeting. I'll be around to talk strategy after. Would love to set up some PVP practice duels to see what we can come up with.

but she did format it in a way that it looks like she will. Will be good to know if we are playing any lieutenants, and to practice duel accordingly.

I'll be back in a couple hours, around 6pm US Pacific time, hopefully (1 am GMT, I think).

SO I want everybody to make a statement in this topic about which deck he wants to play. I expect this to happen in 24horus. Tweaking is possible after that, but we need to know your basic deck choices so we can test and tweak more efficiently. Also we have a deadline for finalizing our decks (2 days 18hrs 51mint at the time of posting) and we don't wanna miss that deadline. If you don't(or cannot) name a deck, then I will chose one for you based on feedbacks and the other deck choices.

If you have no idea, please refer to the  deck strategy thread. (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,14406.0.html)

thank you!
