I’ll probably go with dialbolt. Good chance GG goes fractal charger cuz it’s solid all around. (trivia: who was the first person to post fractal charger?). Her best guess at my deck will be fractix, and if she’s right her chargers get around my dimshields, plus she might hope to put up more dimshields than I have deflags. She has said in chat quite a bit that chargers are the best offensive gravity tool. Dialbolt also ignores otys, grav pull and armaggio.

A LOT of research can be done here. Earth could use stone dragons to avoid ragepots, Miracle/PA’d Titanium to deckout, EQ/SS to stay out of firebolt reach, or Terro might decide to give his rookie an easy to play grabby rush. Immophoenix is a good all around option, as you can immo phoenixes that have been BB’d or whatever. Interested in what your research reveals.

Entropy duo is not a bad option. Gotta love fireshields and AM against life. Actually a lot of decks might be ok. I’d stay away from options that take awhile to set up, like bolt decks and Dragon Powa. Ragepots are better than freeze and BB when dealing with adrenaline.

Quinted fire spirits is megastrong. With it you’re immune to CC, and fire spirits are airborne.

If Kael and Kuro predict you’ll immo rush, they’d be wise to use LS. It slaughters phoenix and to a lesser extent golems. If they do have LS as I already discussed taking Dragons, -2 phoenix, -2 pillar, +4 holy light, would be awesome. If Kuro goes the devourer route, immo is a big winner. Good luck deciding.

Dragoon1140
Potential Team Aether decks can be broken into three categories: dimshields, fractals, and other. Vreely’s is a good option cuz it can outrush anything fractal and has four deflags for dimshields. My gut says Dragoon1140 will look at War1 fire/aether matchups to predict our decks. We used creature-heavy decks (here (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,8229.0.html) and here (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,8272.0.html), so it might be wise to take bolt decks instead. If we do run with creatures, dimshields and lobos are both dangerous to most of our creatures, so we can tweak out CC and tweak in deflags as desired.

First off Round 1 is now 4+4 days long, so brett should make it back in time to play but we’ll have to choose his deck without him so I’ll need extra thought into feedback. I like Sudden Killer for brett. It has only one Fahrenheit, which he has. I’d guess they’re slightly less likely to take PC because they know he doesn’t have very many rares and they’ll guess I’ll give him an easy-to-play rush deck. Dimshield timing takes some time to get used to, though. When you see this, brett, please find some time to practice against AI3 or one of us if possible. Then crush them.
For stinnger, jmdt’s first thought was poisonbolt. It’d certainly be unexpected for us to use poison against water, so maybe it’s worth a shot. If you do use poisonbolt, I recommend replacing RoFs with ragepots. Rav loves toadfish. Nova/Grabby might be ok as well, as it is relatively fast and has six ragepots.
Please respond with deck thoughts for yourself and your teammates.
