This is what I came up against CC. the list needs a bit of tweaking so I ask everybody to test it. TY!

catalyzeme, I took your entropy duo list (I told you I liked it  :P) and experimented with it a little. Here's the list that I came up with (it works better than I expected):
Code: [Select]
4vf 4vf 4vi 4vi 4vi 4vi 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f5 5f5 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5giI ask everybody to test it, cause its a bit slow and thus time-consuming to play a large number of games with, but I feel that we actually found quite a deck here.
I tested this deck out in 10 AI3 matches just now. Lost 1 (to Entropy/Darkness, although I beat him 2 other times). Getting that particular AI3 2 out of 9 wins messes up the numbers a bit, but this is what I had for remaining quanta - cost of cards in hand (I didn't record the loss or one of the wins, although the loss had pretty typical quanta. The Entropy/Darkness AI3 just had a great draw)
FireEntropy
3214
14-2
41-19
00
15-3
1814
21-14
4-5

I really like the Chaos Seed addition. The only criticism I have is that it probably could use less Fire Quanta. I wouldn't mind substituting a pillar for a Rain Of Fire (which can be deadly with Fireshield), since I don't think we'll be using those in too many decks. Another Phoenix or a Crimson Dragon would be great too. If we have Phoenixes to spare, that's what I would add. It could definitely use some more offensive punch. It has a lot of control though, and I like it a lot. Definitely one tweak away from a deck I would be comfortable using in the war. Input from other people on what could be tweaked would be great :)

Once I drop out of the T50 (tonight or tomorrow) I would love to test this with someone in PVP Duel, to see how it performs against a more effective creature rush that we might realistically see.

If it has too much fire quanta, why not throw in a farenheit?(sp?)

Discord is one of the main strengths of that deck. No point in adding a Fahrenheit. Discord would be way better for almost the whole match (even against AI3s, the fire quanta never really got high enough to make Fahrenheit powerful, it just was more than enough to justify trading a Fire Pillar for another Fire card).

How 'bout this?
Code: [Select]
4ve 4vf 4vf 4vi 4vi 4vi 4vi 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 5f5 5f5 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi- I swapped a pillar for an abomination (if we can spare phoenixes then go for it)
- Swapped the rest of the pillars for pendulums (more balanced quanta production)

I did the same 10 matches vs AI3, and counted the quanta- card cost at the end of every match.
:fire :entropy
160
8-5
113
03
9-20
510
62
97
-50
It's more balanced.
Oh, and the win ratio. 10/10 wins.

EDIT
oh, and two questions:
- what is a general "good"creature to antimatter vs. an unknown deck game1? I'd say anyting above 4 power, but that's a guess (its way more obvious in game2)
- what happens when you AM a diving creature and the opponent dives it?

Lava, I tested the fractal/spirits deck a bit and came to the following conclusions:
- you might not need 6 spirits in the deck as you have neither the need  nor the fire quanta to support them (~7 on the board is what you can support)
-deflags are needed, but not necessarily 3

that said, I swapped a spirit and a deflag for 2 dimshields and it seems to work better.

Team underworld does not have to use rainbow decks, especially in the first round.  In the first round we can expect their 8 best decks, which may, or may not be rainbow decks.  In later rounds, they will have to replenish with QT's and will likely go more rainbow.  Without seeing who's on the team, hard to say at this point.

Remember Team:Underworld doesn't participate until round 5, so I'm not sure how much we should be worried about throwing cards in the Vault specifically for them.

ALSO: It's just been changed so that the lieutenant can now use 3 upped cards. We'll have to keep this in mind for deckbuilding purposes.

Trying to come up with a counter to the menace of Discord I decided that taking advantage of the flexibility of Voodoo Dolls would be nice. So spank 'em, whip 'em, freeze 'em, shoot 'em. It will all help you in the end anyways.

It could probably receive some tweaks, but the idea is simple, creature control is evident and rampant, freeze your dolls if you must to freeze their weapon, chaos seed it for gigs, and then once you've held out long enough, deflag.

You are all welcome to try it. I'll see how well it does against AI 3.
