I'm glad I started discussion. Acsabi44, I'd suggest you just post where to download it from here as I'm sure whoever would like to use it will download it.

It is useless without an Elements card database, which I'll post asap with a guide to set it up for elements playtersting.

Less than six days until the vault needs to be complete.

I had really thought of vaultbuilding as these steps:

Determining the goal (12-13 decks plus filler)Brainstorming deck ideasSelecting the best decks to fit our goalSelecting filler

There's a lot of good work in this thread, but let's keep the brainstorm going.  As is, our deck choices would be mostly War1 decks.  ???

I have a busy day today (going to football game, being depressed at how much USC sucks this year, etc.) but tomorrow I should be able to tweak and finalize a couple decks for review. Perhaps late tonight, depending on what's going on. jmdt wanted to put together a Hope deck (no one will see it coming, he says), as well as an Aether deck with Phase Shields. Or, he at least wanted to have them, I guess he didn't explicitly tell me he wanted to build them himself 


EDIT: Also an Unstable Gas deck, although I fear that that might be fairly easy to counter if the opponent knows we have one. We would have to (at the very least) cycle who used it. I suppose that is true of all decks.

This is going to sound incredibly noobish, but why not have a deck of nothing but fire-bolts, Fahrenheits, fire pillars, and deflags? Maybe even a few rage potions for creature-control? Just a suggestion, although it'll probably fail XD

Brett, with free pillar conversion, we will definitely have all the cards for that (we will probably carry the max or close to the max of deflags, fire bolts, and rage potions) so we should build the vault around other decks. If we lose the cards to make a deck, we can pillar convert into a fire stall.

I'm brainstorming again as we all should be, and I'll post some more half-baked and unlikely to make the final cut ideas tomorrow.

I tested those decks. The maxwelldemon and the bonewall decks are a bit weak but the rest are decent. The bonewall deck could make it if one swithced the spirits to vultures, but that way you just cannot seem to have enough death quanta.

OK I Uploaded the Elements Cardlist for the aforementioned Magic Suitcase, which is a great tool for playtesting Elements decks against each other.
I also made a guide for setting up the program for Elements playtesting.
