wait,so your deck has to be fully upgraded to be functional?because by then you should have enough quantum to afford a decent fg killer deck,or can your deck be used unupgraded?

Some people prefer grinding AI3 to the fg's.  AI3 gives much more score at the cost of less electrum.

Minimum you need the upped ash eaters for this to work correctly, but you will probaby need the pillars upped to get any speed as well.

Yep. Those little buggers are useless as unupped which is why that deck only works as upped.

To anyone who wants an unupped version, try this:

Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f2 5f7 5fc 5fc 5fcI had to change Brimstone Eaters to something. Phoenix was the natural choice. Spirit is too slow, and Golem would have required a mark change.

This deck has a ridiculous amount of Pillars. 20. But it's ok because this way you get damage on the table very fast. Also with Fahrenheit, producing too much quanta is not possible because more quanta = more damage.

I didn't do any extensive testing with this deck, but the 9-10 matches I fought, I owned AI3 every single time.

Good deck.  I still kinda think that you could grind more score with the mono-life deck.  I dunno if its time to win would be smaller though  :o

I'll test the 2 decks for time and score once I get the electrum to upgrade this deck.

Feel free to tweak the number of Phoenix's in that unupped version if you feel like you need more creatures. I haven't tested it much so I'm not sure if it is optimal or not.

i tested the upgraded version of this deck in jmdt's Time To Win Study  (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11935.new.html#new)

Games:   50
Time overall (min.)*:   53.333
avg. sec/game*:   64.000
Clicks/Game:   12.820

*not included spinns and starting new games. its the sumation of the time facing a ai3.

Wins:   49
Ems:    2
Losses:   1
Score:   938
Electrum:   986

Avg ttw:   6.660 (oh... should i be scared?)

ttw details:
ttw 5:   9
ttw 6:   19
ttw 7:   12
ttw 8:   6
ttw 9:   1
ttw 10:   1
ttw 11:   1
ttw 12:   1its a nice ai3 farmer and so far surpisingly fast (in ttw and realtime)

comment to the deck:
if you plan to build this deck you may want to split the Towers with Fire Pendulums (9 Towers 8 Pend.).
the deck will be less vulnerable to earthquakes (there is one ai3 that uses these)

That's a very good point. I should definitely do that tweak because although it's only useful in relatively rare situations, there is zero downside to it.

Saying that there is zero downside is not completely true. In the extremely rare case that the AI steals a Quanta generating permanent from you, a stolen Pendulum will help it more than a stolen Pillar will, most of the time.

But the above scenario is so unlikely that the benefits outweigh the risk, so you stand to gain more than you stand to lose when you split it 50-50 between Pillars and Pendulums in a mono deck.

Just had to mention this  :)

Yep, that is true. Like you said it's very rare, but it can happen so there is a small downside to having Pendulums. Also like you said, benefits definitely outweigh the risk.
