more tweaking, more speed!
i tryed to made my destroyer rush faster and came up with this:
Code: [Select]
5f2 5f2 5f2 6rl 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7ds 7ds 7ds 809 809 809 809stats:
ttw: 5.27 (50 games)
losses: 1
em: 1
score gain: 939
electrum gain: 1138
time: 69 min

details:
ttw 4: 14
ttw 5: 19
ttw 6: 10
ttw 7:   3
ttw 8:   2
ttw 9:   0
ttw 10: 1

comment:
the amount of ttw 4 is incredible here. mostly done with a dragon/destroyer/phoenix combo or 3 destroyers out in turn 1.
in the meanwhile im pretty experience with this deck. im not sure how much the knowledge of this deck improves the speed/ttw ratio.
i will go for another 50 games to verify this stats.
of corse anyone is invited to test this deck aswell.

hrmmm:

I've been playing your V1 deck.   I like it.   The biggest hiccup I have is having a cremation but no target to cremate.   I felt like the deck needed more Balls or Phoenix.   So I am not surprised to see you adding a Pheonix and seeing an improvement.

The question I have, have you tried even more Phoenix such as +1 Minor Phoenix -1 Dragon?

I tested out the modified deck I suggested previously:

Avg   5.14 over 50 games.
Std Dev   1.088155151
No loses; 6 EMs (surely fluke luck here).

4       13
5       24
6       9
7       3
8       0
9       0
10     1
Code: [Select]
5f2 5f2 6rl 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dp 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7dq 7ds 7ds 7ds 7ds 809 809 809 809I doubt the difference is statistically significant but who knows.   I am wondering if the dragons are even worth it as they only get out on near perfect conditions.   The deck may play just as well replacing them with phoenix and/or another gavel.

Wow 5.14 ttw :o . 6 EM's is likely a fluke, but with 37 4-5 turn wins, I can believe it as several of the AI3's can take a few turns to set up.  This is blazing fast, I think the fastest recorded so far on the forum.  Before your and hrmmm's most recent modifications to his deck, the fastest recorded was 5.69 in another thread.  Good job guys.

thx for your stats clathius. 5.14 is impressiv^^
(6 em is really a piece of luck)
...
The biggest hiccup I have is having a cremation but no target to cremate. I felt like the deck needed more Balls or Phoenix.
...
thats exactly the point about this deck.
i always noticed that the BoL/Rol - cremation combo isnt consistent. with the good known pillerless rush, you always run into inbalance of BoL/RoL or cremation.

i tryed to correct that with the towers and a few phoenix.

about the dragons:
they are my choice for another high dmg creature. i had some nice draws and get quite a few 4ttw with them. of corse 3 phoenix would do the same dmg for lower quantum. but they need more space in your deck.
i dont know actually if +- 1 dragon/phoenix change that much on the draw constistent.
this deck still has 2 kinds of bad draws:
- cremations without base
- base without cremation

with the low numbers of ttw 7+ wins, i would say we are pretty close to the maximum here.

i was curious about how fast a uppgraded death rush would be like.
so i testet this one:

Code: [Select]
710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 713 713 713 713 713 713 718 718 718 718 718 718 71a 71d 71d 71d 71d 71d 71dresults:

avg ttw: 6.44 (50 games)
losses: 2 (early discord + maxwells = )
em: 3 (feel very lucky)
score gain: 856
electrum gain: 1071
time: 69 min

ttw 5: 8
ttw 6: 20
ttw 7: 14
ttw 8: 3
ttw 9: 3

Your swap to unupgraded dragons and a few more minor phoenix was the trick.

I do think the current version purrs along nicely.   I say that as someone who generally does not like combo-based decks because they are inherently unreliable.  They also "fail" to follow the card advantage theory which I generally try to follow.

The move to unupped dragons was definately a good call.  I did some testing with both versions and they are pretty much the same speed wise.  I prefer the 3 dragon, 3 minor phoenix version as it has more damage potential, but either one is really fast.

I updated the OP with a few more stats.

The Unupgraded Death rush is the best rush deck that i have used. Ive won against AI3 6 times in a row before losing. Ive tryed Life rush before and its fun but too many weak creatures.  ;D :death rules
