Round 3 Prep - Status

Since TWm is down, this is mostly for my own personal reference:

Through 35 games finished (excluding round 1 decks that have not yet reappeared):

So no one is on... and I am thinking now and want to get this down.

My matchup this round is death.  Immortal wrecks death.  Always has.  Always...

We have come up with counters they could run:
1) Fractal-ing mummies or elite spiders (or a fractal ball lightning + fractal vulture deck...) **they haven't showed or been able to salvage any fractals yet
2) An EQ rush... either a duo or rainbow **Seen the EQs in the EQ mummy duo... but they could also run something like entropy's eq bow
3) Heavy PC with a rush.  Not sure immortal can handle 4+ PC.. seen a death/dark and they may have fire cards for a duo there ** only seen 1 deflag and 2 steals
4) A thicker stall.  They showed an earth stall in round 1 and a light stall in round 2.  They make either of those bigger and we lost.  And this would be by far the most embarrassing.  They make 7 real decks and put 50 junk cards (including bone walls or sanctuaries) in a deck and throw it at us and we lose.

The vault analysis should narrow down their possibilities some... but I need some help with the Meta, what they probably will run against who else and what that leaves them.  This matchup looks super "rock paper scissors" and I don't like that.  It really comes down to if they are countering us or expecting us to change.

we have to watch the EQ's especially with the event card and our variety of stalls, Death, immortal, wings are straight stalls. We also have PU dragon, whole world and mith fire deck all have huge vunerability to EQ.


  DEATH
I almost feel we should bring some sort of grabbow with EQ's


  ENTROPY
again a hard matchup. but i think we have a very good shot. Entropy has every single game used some sort of rush. whether mono entropy or grabbies. I think if we switch it up to something that we havent shown yet.

I think a better way to access this is through an email Martyr sent.  I have to work until 400 PM EST, 2000 GMT today and then I will be ready to put strong effort into this round for the next 3 days.  I'm pretty confident we will do well again and I will start adding strategy/deck/salvaging thoughts when I get home.

EVENT
Teams must secretly choose one of the following Event Cards and PM their choice to Warmaster. All choices will be made public when the Battle Phase begins. Card that the team chose, applies to all the members of that team. The card they did not choose, has no effect on that team.
Rush - Players who win one or more duels before the 13th turn may salvage 3 additional cards on a win.

Idk where Gillero went. Maybe he'll show tomorrow. Also having the same color as Mith is annoying as hell.

-Darkness has now used two Grabows, one Devtal, one PUgons, and the ParaBone.  They may have saved Wings from the deck that lost to us last time, so remember that you can RT your own creatures to avoid deckout if it comes to that.
