:earth Gen. Kakerlake   vs   :aether Gen. Higurashi

of all the opponents we could get...
Anyways, the deck is more-or-less ready. Not much to predict about the opponent either.

Good luck, Kraker!

Aye, thanks^^
One question still remains though: What to convert? (for the unlikely Event that we manage to win this one, thinking ahead might help)

The deck needs 7 Pillars and one more Pend.
A few obvious choices are obvious:
2x Horned Frog
3x Enchant Artifact

3 more are either 3x Antimatter or 3x Stoneskin. (Dimshields will be kept since if we win, we will probably salvage aether cards)

aye if we can manage to get 3 dimshields then that rounds out a  :aether splash deck.

I'd convert AMs. we cannot reliably build an  :entropy splash anymore.

Yep, and AM is usually useless against aether. Don't destroy :earth cards. You don't have to convert more than 5 cards anyway. 5+7 pillars should be enough.

I'd agree on converting the AMs, mostly they would have been useful against Time, which should no longer be an issue.

I would advise building a more stall-y type deck with the Phoenixes, though, good chance we'll see poison and SS could prove crucial.

I for one expect that they think we can still make a half-decent Immortal and will try to counter it.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

You don't have to convert more than 5 cards anyway. 5+7 pillars should be enough.
12 Pillars is enough in a grabowinder deck, but in one with so many heavy creatures and SS as defense, I'd rather take one Pillar too much than one too less.

I would advise building a more stall-y type deck with the Phoenixes, though, good chance we'll see poison and SS could prove crucial.
I was already PM'ed by LongDono who suggested the same thing. (looks like he's rooting for us)

Anyway, how about this:

Needs a few more conversions (byebye RT)

I was about to suggest a denial deck, and then I actually saw the deck. xD

Looks solid, though. Best of luck, Kaker!

with 6 creatures only, I really wouldn't go over 30 cards...
6 critters is not enough to race, so you would need the diamonds to survive. Again, with only 2, you want to be as colse to 30 as possible.

what to take out?
-1 SS (6 is overkill, you cannot race soley on the back of SSes)
-1 pillar 1 pend
-1 daflag? dunno, it should be the jolly-joker if drawn at the right time, but with only 1 in the deck, it feels more like a "why not?" card than the actual focus of the deck

Tthe current build looks like a jack-of-all-trades, but a deck that aims to be good at everything can lose focus easily.

umm yea. my 2  :electrum

Aye, that would surely help. *cough*7 critter*/cough*
Though I don't see a point in removing the deflag. If you have it, it's awesome and might save the round, if not, then it acts as if it weren't in the deck anyway.
might as well remove 2x SS instead of just one. Having lots of them early is a pain.
-2 Pillars, but keeping the Pend seems with this better.
