Some interesting matchups here. Good newz is we missed generals and lieutenants this round.
This is the blind round, everyone. Now't the time to utilize those oracle and prediction skillz.


Match breakdown:
Well, not much to reason here... I'll try to make some wild guesses.

Kakerlake vs UTAlan
The good thing in  that it has no good all-around decks. The best of the lot is the mono Dimshield deck, with untargettable creatures. I bet they will run one vs  Lava. and maybe against  to avoid being RT'd.

That said, I'd definitely pack some PC here. If we have a deck that can utilize Pulverizer, then go for it. If none, then nova/grabby.


$$$man vs jippy99
Air can pack tons of effective CC, and they generally stall a lot. Still, I reccomend an Immortal here. I doubt they will run a 40+ card stall as their most effective CC is OE and they won't pack 4+ and the bigger the deck the more diluted it is.

Acsabi44 vs SteppingStone81
I see two possibilities here. One is to play a GoTP/Grabby since this element is clunky, quanta-dependent and lacks hard-CC. The other possibiliy is to run a nova/grabby and pack purifies.

TimerClock14 vs mrpaper
I wouldn't run a permannent-heavy deck here cause whatever we play will most likely end un on the other side of the field.
Maybe we could fight fire with fire and run an EQ/Dev deck.. That helps a bit against Pestal too.

Terroking vs Svenningen
Our toughest matchup.
I reccomend the other Immortal, don't ask why... It is great vs a boltdeck but I doubt they'd run a boltdeck vs us knowing we has access to SS. Anyways, the Immortal is my best guess. The other good option would be the PosionStall. If we manage to SS before the Bolt comes then it should have no problem. I reccomend upping the Arsenics.

Another though one. If we can play a Discord first, then Scrambled Shriekers will tear them apart. Or we could try an Immortal to shut down discord (well my personal opinion is that scntuary is well... not that good against Discord, but hey, who am I to know better than the great minds of the game  )

Kamietsu vs Devilloss
A simple and effective Posion Stall will do wonders here. I recommend upping the Arsenics.

Spielkind vs The dictator
My best guess would be an ImmoBow with upped Golems. A pity we don't have hammers in the vault, we could swap the arsenic for one and run it upped. Whatever. I don't expect a heavy rush so a stall couold work too.

A good choice might as well be quanta denial, steals and a few hitters... But I'll rather leave the choice to the veterans there ^^

Though this is needless to say, skyblitz might kill the Immortal, especially if they are so mean to pack silence as well. Replacing a few things for quakes might save the day.

IMO Devs vs. devs is not a very good option vs. .
I'd rather go with something more rainbowy, maybe even with some hard CC aka. Owl's Eye & EA... or not.

Sanc works against discord pretty well... IF the sanc is out first, which usually doesn't happen.
So I'd rather go for scrambling.

i think against water is the immortal a nice thing, but water might build bigger decks...

for the entropymatch, i would love if we dont take discord against them... it suxxx to loose them to entropy, but we dont loose, ya know  8)

Do we have HFs in the vault after all? can be used in any deck if upped against darkness and death.

I think if we have anything in range a rush with some CC can be good against darkness

against air ... idk. I dont feel it but i could be wrong.

against water : id rather take acsabi's deck. I dont know why, Intuition

Knowing mrpaper, he'll use a mono or a duo. Knowing this, our safest route will definitely be deckout. I'd suggest my grav/earth stall, but I'm not sure if we have enough cards for it. I'll use deckcheck to find out.

But I'd say no to a rush here. Definitely not going to be our best choice, a SS deck would be much better.

I would actually recommend the poison stall vs. entropy. Just with some more pillars (as a counter to discord and as a failsafe in case of stall.
Low cost attack > Discord.
Extra pillars + Stone Skin + Titanium > Discord rush.

That and revealing that we have 2 immortal's might give it away some tactical possibilities.

There is good stuff here, but we need much more feedback. Keep it coming, people.
Also, we need a "Round 1 decks" thread going. If none is set up in the next day I'll make one. This is a necessity as only decks posted there are considered legal choices and we will get penaltized if we fail to post 'em. Additionally, any input here is just brainstormning, and the deck you post in that topic is considered the final word.
